This is a sweet romance that had my attention from the very beginning. We first met Zall in Chalice's book and in this latest installment of this series he gets his own story told. I enjoyed getting to see the man that Zall has become. He is a good man and wants love but is afraid to even explore with Danner. Zall has gone through so much in his life and thankfully Danner understands this and is willing to work with Zall and his problems but it seems that the smugglers have other ideas and the two men must make some quick and hard decisions as they fight for their lives. I loved seeing the trust build between the two men. Their attraction is strong and soon they have something stronger between them. It was nice to watch Zall and Danner's relationship begin to take shape. The two learn quickly just what kind of trust and love that they have for each other. I enjoyed seeing Zall find something and someone worth fighting for. Zall and Danner's story was a good read and I am eager to see if there will be more adventures in this world.

Stanley never thought that his day let alone his life would turn out this way. He always believed that his family led a normal quiet life. That is until the fateful night when everything changed. While out on his regular jog he is attacked and figures that he is a goner. Yet he soon wakes up to find himself in a strange bed with all the more strange feelings and needs going through him. Will these changes be for the better or will Stanley be doomed to suffer for the rest of his life?

As short as this read is it sure packs a punch. I enjoyed my visit to Stanley’s world. He is taken for a ride and I was alongside for the journey. I loved just about each character in this story. Stanley is a good man and takes things as they are thrown at him. Fen is a good man as . He may come from a questionable family but he is a stand up guy and will fight for and with Stanley. The two are a great couple. Seeing the relationship build between the two men was a nice read. I loved meeting each of their families and just adored the mothers.  It was nice to see the relationships between all the characters in this story. Each one is unique and endearing in their own way.

This story grabs you right from the start and does not let go. It is full of twists that I did not see coming and made the read more enjoyable.  I hope that this is not the last time we get to visit this world.

Justin brings danger to Peter’s pack but help comes in a form of the unexpected and as Peter and Justin find out, sometimes the unexpected can deliver the greatest results.

When I read this on Amber Kell’s blog as part of her blog story, I was itching to see it in full story mode. I was thrilled to see it come true and THE WIZARD AND THE WEREWOLF is all that and more. Action packed, tilt a whirl kind of story…one I can honestly say had me glued to the pages, giggling one minute, shouting for someone to help the other in a bind as I flipped pages on my e-reader. The writing is tight, characters are intriguing-especially as in this series wizards and werewolves just do not mix well together and a storyline that flowed smoothly right from the start.

Meet Justin. He is on the run from his crazy ass ex-lover, a wizard on a power trip and an agenda-one that includes the use of a very powerful, very old artifact. One Justin is hiding from him. Trouble seems to follow Justin-even in the midst of his brother’s werewolf pack. I really loved Justin. He was a bad boy with a heart of gold. He fit perfectly with Peter. As alpha, Peter has to be the leader but Justin takes that away from him which he enjoys-just not in front of his pack members. The sparks fly the minute these two locked eyes and the sizzling sexual tension almost had me begging for resolution between these two. It got that hot on my e-reader. There are a few intriguing secondary characters and the author leaves the door open for another story in the future, which I am really hoping she will write. The characters are well written though some I felt needed a little more depth to them but otherwise they made the story more enjoyable in the end.

The first book in the Mixed Mates series delivers a high octane ride from start to finish though I caution you, the ending will leave you going “NOOOOO!!!” and scrambling to the author’s website for news on the next book. If you enjoy Amber Kell’s writing and a story full of shifters, wizards and more, then you might enjoy THE WIZARD AND THE WEREWOLF. I can’t wait to see what this author conjures up next for her readers.

I have got to admit; I read this on Amber Kell’s blog and fell in love with the entire Larson family. Tam was funny, endearing and very loyal to his family plus he had that wicked side that had me grinning in delight. The writing was good, the characters well defined and the sexual tension between Tam and Valko made me grin as I reached for the ice cubes. There was more than one moment where I was laughing out loud over something Tam said or did to Valko. The characters are what make this book. The wild and madcap Larson family, Valko and his pack, a vampire boss and add them all together-BAM-instant chaos and pure entertainment. I was trying to figure out who I enjoyed more-Tam, Valko, Larson siblings, etc-when it hit me that I enjoyed them all. It’s a rare treat to find a story where I can enjoy all the characters equally and unabashedly.

Tam has a genius IQ who knows how to push back against anyone and anything that tries to hurt himself or his family. Valko is an alpha determined to win Tam over as his mate. Two strong willed men who find that both will need to compromise in order to get what they want. Both these two characters are perfect for one another. Amber Kell gives enough intriguing aspects to hook you and then adds in vulnerabilities, meddling families and more to keep the romance between Valko and Tam from getting stale. The sexual tension between these two is smoking hot and I swore sparks were flying off my nook reader. The secondary characters were as equally well written and just as intriguing. I can’t wait to see more of them in future books.

THE TRIALS OF TAM introduces the readers to a family of wolves who are loyal, protective of their own and love to meddle but you can feel the love they have for one another as well. Amber Kell delivers a wonderful story that though I felt could have been a bit more fleshed out and longer, was a satisfying read all the same on a cold winter’s afternoon. I am really eager to see what this author does for the rest of the Larson family siblings and who may be next in the love department. If you are looking for a light hearted and fun paranormal story. Then grab THE TRIALS OF TAM. I guarantee you will be giggling one minute and sighing the next.

I got to admit, I absolutely loved TYLER’S COWBOY. It was a sweet, romantic and yes, a hot tale of two people finding love amid a crisis- be it of the heart, the home or somewhere else. Amber Kell has become my new favorite author and I found this first book in the Cowboy Lovin’ series to be a well written, fast paced story filled with some intriguing characters.

Meet Tyler, a talented chef who finds he hates his job with a passion. Trying to decide what to do with his life, he receives a phone call that will have him racing back home to the ranch he left behind. Meeting his brother’s partner, Cody, leaves him speechless. He was gorgeous, rugged and sexy as sin-everything Tyler wanted in a man. Just a small problem-Cody is straight and Tyler refuses to be the “dirty little secret” for a straight man exploring his sexuality. I LOVED Tyler. He was fun, sweet natured and earnest plus he can cook too. The sparks flew between Cody and Tyler from the moment they meet and the sexual tension between them could have been cut with a knife. Cody was hot in that sexy cowboy way that had me drooling the minute he showed up on the page. He was a perfect match to Tyler in all ways. There were a few secondary characters that intrigued me and I am really hoping Ms. Kell delves deeper into to the town she has created here in her first book in the Cowboy Lovin’ Series.

TYLER’S COWBOY is one wild and wicked ride from start to finish. I couldn’t put it down once I started it and the only complaint I had was that I wished it was longer. If you are looking for a sweetly romantic yet sexy tale of a cowboy finding love with a chef, then you have found the perfect book to enjoy. I am a new fan of Ms. Kell’s and look forward to more wonderful stories in the future. I can’t wait to see what other books Ms. Kell has to offer her readers. I just hope I don’t have to wait long for book two in the Cowboy Lovin’ Series.
