Life doesn’t give you a second chance at love. When Ray first meets Rennia she is in her animal form. Rennia is there during his rescue but Ray finds all of the shifters too much to take and he wants nothing to do with them. Yet with his sister marrying two shifters he has no choice but to visit a place that he would rather stay away from. Only one good thing comes from his stay. Meeting Rennia; a beautiful woman that Ray cannot seem to stay away from but once her secret comes out will Ray leave and never look back or will Ray give love a chance? Rennia knows from their first meeting what Ray is but she knows his disdain for her kind. One night is all she wants. Rennia longs to have a wonderful memory to keep her company on those long lonely nights ahead of her.

I enjoyed this visit to the Wind River Pack. We are now on the new generation of the pack. I am enjoying these wolves and their friends just as much as my first visit with Remus and Maddie. Ray and Rennia’s story was an emotional read. It was nice to see their relationship take shape. When push comes to shove Ray will fight to keep Rennia safe but will he fight for love?  

Not only are the pack in this story but once again we see many other shifters on the scene. I loved seeing everyone come together when the pack is threatened and the bears were a great addition.

Once again the pack is threatened by an evil scientist and now it seems that they may have a traitor amongst themselves. While I enjoy this series this storyline is starting to get a bit stale. We are working on a whole new generation of shifters and mad scientists. It does bring some drama and action to the story but I found myself sighing in this story when it came to those parts of the story. It is starting to feel like a rehash of the original story and I hate to say that about one of my favorite authors. Aside from that this book is a nice addition to the series and I loved seeing love conquer all in this book. Rennia and Ray make a good couple. I really enjoyed the good and the bad parts of their relationship and how it came about. The love that they share shines through in all that they do making this a good read.

We are once again visiting the Wind River Pack in this book. Children from the packs have been taken and when they are found they quickly become very ill. Now the evil has struck the Wind River Pack. As talks go on to find a cure for the children and the culprits who did this, Zach remembers a young woman from his past. She has a special gift and just might be able to help the children. There is only one problem; she has been in hiding for years and Zach must convince those protecting her to let him see her. Zach must try, if only to find out why he feels that it so important that he see her once again.

I loved Zach right from the start. He is a good man who fights to protect those that he cares for. Aurelia is a strong woman and a great match for Zach. The attraction that the two have is evident from the very start. I enjoyed watching that attraction turn into so much more as their story goes on. As the two fight their way back to Zach’s home their feelings deepen and strengthen. Zach will do anything for Aurelia and no matter what, he will always love her.

I enjoyed seeing many of the family members that we have met before and hope that they get their stores told as well. We also get to visit another pack that I hope we get to see more of. This story takes a few twists at the end that I did not see coming and certainly surprised me. I am so glad that Missy Martine continued her Wind River Pack series. I have loved this series from the very start and this book reminds me just why this author and series is an automatic buy for me.

When Kati finds herself the target of the drug cartel her father asks for help from the shifters. Kinnith and Synia are sent to help guard her and when the two arrive they soon discover that she is their mate. The two must try to keep Kati safe as well as trying to find a way to explain just who and what they are to Kati. Soon the drug cartel makes their move and the two men must find a way to save Kati before it is too late.

I enjoyed returning to this world again. The Wind River Pack is full of great people and watching each of them find their mates is a nice read. Kinnith and Synia may be different animal shifters but that does not stop them from being mates and when they find Kati they have nothing but love to give her. The three are good together and the love that they share is evident in all that they do. The two men are more than willing to fight for Kati and will do anything to show her that they what they have is real.  Kati is a strong woman and does not back down even when she thinks that she is alone and is fighting against losing odds. It was nice to see the three find their way to a happy ever after. I loved seeing all the secondary characters as well. The pack members are always a treat to visit with and meeting Kati’s family was something as well. I cannot wait to see who in the Wind River Pack will be next to find their mate.

Anna and her good friend Kat are on a mission to explore an old west town. After Kat shows Anna an old photo from the town with a woman who looks just like her she agrees to go with Kat on a research trip. When the two reach the town they split up and Anna finds herself transported back in time to the heyday of the town. After reading the book Anna knows that she must save the town before a major disaster happens. When she meets Beau and Zeke Anna must decide if she cannot only trust them with her safety but her heart as well.

I enjoyed meeting Anna. She is a smart and independent woman who can think on her feet and stand on her own. She finds herself in a new world and takes it all in stride. She fights for what is right and never backs down. Her love for the two men is freely and easily given. Watching the relationship develop between the three was a nice read. Beau and Zeke are kind men who keep an open mind when it comes to Anna. They love her just as much and will do anything for her. As the three discover their feelings they must also find a way to stop the tragedy from happening. I loved the bond that the three have. The love that they share for one another shines through in everything that they do. From the men helping Anna getting settled to Anna helping at the saloon you can see how much love there is to go around.

Not only does this story bring us Anna and her men but we also are introduced to other great characters from the good men to the bad men this book has it all. We see the evil villain who is bent on hurting the town for his own gain as well as the good folk of the town who band together to help each other. Just as we learn to love the good guys, we learn to hate the bad guy Bart and only hope that he gets what is coming to him in the end.

I did have a hard time connecting with Beau and Zeke. These two men just did not do it for me. Although these two men were not favorites of mine I still enjoyed their relationship with Anna. The two men not only love each other but Anna as well and enjoy it all making this a hot read as well as a nice romance. Overall this was a nice read and I hope that Kat gets her own book and we get to read her story as well.

In this sequel to TABLE FOR THREE we get Serena’s story. Serena is more than she seems. No matter what the local townsfolk say Marc and Tony know that there is something worth finding inside Serena. After a brutal attack on Serena the two men are sent to protect her until the attacker is taken into custody. While protecting Serena, Marc and Tony find themselves drawn to her and want to see just where things may go but when Serena finds out the truth will she stay or will she run?

Readers of the first book in this series will be very happy to find that Serena is much more than everyone thinks. She is a good person and proves it time and time again. I enjoyed seeing a different side of Serena in this story. She is a strong woman who endures a lot and is still standing. Marc and Tony are wonderful men who see right through it all and see the real woman behind the mask. It was nice to see them put everything on the line to protect Serena. Watching the three go from friendship to love was a sweet read and seeing Cass forgive and help Serena was great. I loved watching the relationship blossom between Serena and her men. They are wonderful together and the love that they have for one another shows through in everything that they do.

CATCH HER WHEN SHE FALLS is a wonderful story of finding love and happiness when you least expect it. Missy Martine does a wonderful job of pulling the reader into Serena’s world. I enjoyed seeing Serena’s happiness unfold and I am glad she was more than people thought she was.
