REDEMPTION is a wonderful story full of action, adventure, romance and mystery all tied up with a big red bow by author R. Garland Gray. This is an author who continues to amaze me with her masterful storytelling. Each book by Ms. Gray continues to be better and better. I can honestly say this is my favorite Futuristic series to date and the story is rich with historical information as well as wonderful characters to enjoy. If you enjoy a high speed story set in space, then get ready for DARKSCAPE: REDEMPTION.

Meet Declan de Douglas, a man who was given a second chance at the end of Rebel Lord, and is infused with the matrix like his brother, Lachlan. Determined to win their trust and forgiveness, he goes to Planet Forest to try to broker a trade alliance with Clan MacKendrick, only to find himself collared and having no memory of his life before. Enter in Princess Fallon, a woman who grew up in lap of luxury yet finds her life is empty of something that even she has no idea of what….that is until she meets and falls for Declan. Chaos arrives as both find themselves stuck in peril as clans erupt and a third party watches as his evil plans become known. Can Fallen help Declan regain his memory and accept the man he is now? These two are very relatable characters and kept me glued to the computer screen till the very end. With some great secondary characters to keep the story flowing smoothly, Ms. Gray delves into Declan’s story with gusto and I loved how she redeemed the man we all met in Rebel Lord, book 1 of the Darkscape series.

Tight writing, fast paced storyline and lots of twists will keep you on the edge of your seat as you read the next installment of the Darkscape series, REDEMPTION. Ms. Gray is a wonderful storyteller who captivates her readers from the first page to the last. If you enjoy a high energy story, then I highly suggest you grab REDEMPTION and the first book, Rebel Lord. I do recommend reading Rebel Lord first to understand Declan’s back story and the events that played there. The Darkscape series is one you can read a multitude of times and still be blown away by it all. I just hope we won’t have to wait long for the next adventure in the Darkscape world.

Ms. Gray is a talented author who brings to her stories, complex characters, a rich storyline full of action and a romance that will sear the heart. Get ready for DARKSCAPE: REBEL LORD.

Meet Lord Lachlan de Douglas, a descendant of the Clan Douglas from Ancient Earth. All he has known is war and determined to make peace; he finds his life utterly changed in an instant with just one decision. It also has him meeting Kimberly Kinsale again though both have no idea why the other seems so familiar to one another. Secrets explode even as passion unfolds between the two and a madman is bent on destroying all that Lachlan holds dear-even Kimberly herself. Can Lachlan find a way to stop Rama before he loses everything, including his life? Lachlan is a man who you want on your side regardless. Strong, alpha male, he also has vulnerability when he falls for Kimberly, which will either destroy him or bring him more than he ever imagined. Ms. Gray creates the prefect foil to Lachlan in Kimberly. A feisty heroine, she is a woman who knows what she is doing (changing clans and not following orders, etc) and when she falls for Lachlan, she finds herself thrown into the fire when she becomes the target of Rama’s madness. Ms. Gray always has interesting and multi-dimensional characters and this was no exception. With some really good secondary characters keeping the storyline flowing smoothly, this author weaves her spell around you with just one touch. This is an author who shows the vulnerabilities of her characters and delves deeper yet to show the reader their souls.

Ms. Gray is a talented author who can keep the reader’s attention until the very end with her rich characters and fast paced stories. With the right amount of action, mystery and sprinkled with a bit of romance, Ms. Gray delivers a wonderful introduction to a place where I am eager to go for more. The ending is climatic, leaving you breathless and eager to see the next chapter. I look forward to the next part of this wonderful series, Redemption. Run; don’t walk, to grab this wonderful addition to any library. If you enjoy a fast paced Science fiction/futuristic that will captivate you, then you better grab REBEL LORD. I highly recommend this book and others by Ms. Gray for your reading pleasure.
