Kelly Munroe trains dogs. She has her own very special dog, a Caucasian Orvcharka who is not only her guard dog, but who has psychically bonded with her. When they meet Rick Latrobe, Kelly’s dog, Xena, bonds with him and starts sending Kelly messages of danger. Rick is about to take a shipment of arms to a private security center in Iraq and when he gets there, someone tries to kill him. Rick works for the Pheonix Agency and they are already aware that there are things out there that are unexplainable, so they take Kelly and Xena’s warnings seriously. They introduce her to The Lotus Circle, who help her to expand her bond between her dog and Rick. Rick and Kelly fall in love and as Rick is desperately trying to find out who is behind the whole situation, Xena becomes the true heroine, warning them both of the dangers that are waiting for them.

This is a very exciting story with a romance to curl your toes. Judith Rochelle grabs her readers on the first page and tugs them along through an adventure that will leave you breathless. Rick really has to fear for his life and is knocked down more than once. The reader will travel into exotic countries, get involved in a dangerous mission and experience a wonderful love story. Ms. Rochelle certainly knows how to write some sweet sexual tension that will have you panting for Rick and Kelly to do the deed. When they are finally able to, Ms Rochelle, gives her readers and her characters the satisfaction they crave. I enjoyed this book very much and I highly recommend you read the two stories before to better know some of the characters. This can book can be read on its own, but I think after you’ve read it, you’ll be clamoring for the others.

Tension is high at the company and Dan tracks the message down to Mia Fleming, an art historian for the museum. She’s battled with her precognitive gifts all her life making her mostly a laughing stock. But these visions are so strong she cannot sit back and do nothing. Soon, she’s working with Dan and their attraction is something they cannot ignore. When Mia is shot and almost killed and dead bodies start piling up, Dan knows he needs to do all he can to protect the woman he loves and save Chases professional career.

This is such a wonderful read, I totally enjoyed it. Judith Rochelle has penned a story that will hold the reader riveted to the monitor. She gives her readers multi-dimensional characters, tons of emotion, a real thrill of a plot and a sweet but very sensual romance. Sexual tension runs high throughout the book. It was for me frustrating to read as I had to always put it down. I couldn’t wait to pick it up again. I do admit that about two thirds through the story I guessed who the baddie was, and I was right. But, no matter, Ms. Rochelle gives her readers some really bad characters who will stop at nothing to reach their goals. Thank goodness for heroes like Dan Romeo, who readers will fall in love with. I am looking forward to the next story from this talented author and if this one comes out in print I’m getting it for my keeper shelf.
