Zoe has put walls upon walls around her heart. She is not about to let anyone hurt her ever again. Love has only ever brought her heartache and pain. In the end it even cost her life. Since becoming a demon Zoe has not only given up on love but also on men. When three gorgeous demons are hired to help her at her job Zoe must find a way to get past her lust. She figures no one would want her as she has learned that the hard way already and she is not ready to repeat that lesson again.

Zoe’s story is a nice addition to the Taming the Beast series by Tina Donahue. She is a strong woman who has literally been to Hell and back. Zoe longs for love but her past has shown her that it is not for her. When Taro, Stefin and Anatol show interest in her she assumes it is only temporary and fights hard to keep her heart safe, but these three demons have more than a quick lay in mind and try hard to prove their intentions. Each man has a distinctive personality and shines in his own right. Together they show Zoe the love that she longs for if only she would take it. I enjoyed seeing the journey that Zoe and her men take. It was nice to see Zoe and her men find something strong and deep. I was glad to see Zoe grow and realize that she is just as wonderful as all the women around her are.

The author does a nice job of continuing this series and keeping it interesting with each book. I am eager to see what will happen in the next story.

Bridget’s story is a titillating read. It was nice to see a strong woman finding herself and not backing down from what she wants. She shows her spunk and personality right from the start. Daniel and Jacob are good men who may be domineering but they both care for Bridget and want nothing more than her happiness. The three embark on a hot adventure full of submission and control. They all know what they want and like and Bridget is ready to explore her needs and wants. Watching the three come to terms with their emotions made for a nice read. Bridget, Jacob and Daniel must each make their own choices and decide if they are willing to fight for what they want. They must leave the past where it belongs if they want to look towards a future. I enjoyed getting to see their true selves and not what they each portray to the world. Sometimes love is needed to be fought for and these three learn that the hard way.

This book continues the story of Chris and his two alien soul mates: Nary and Lasar. The three are still figuring out just where their places are in not only their relationship but also in the big scheme of things.  While they are solidifying their relationship, they must also find a way to fight the evil that is trying to take over the Alasharian race. Their invasion of Earth has become hurtful and evil. Chris soon learns that he and his mates are mixed up in it all and the three must find a way to fix things. The evil that they are fighting is gaining ground and they must find a way to work together without being found out before they can search for a way to fight for the humans and Earth.

Once again readers are brought into a world where aliens have taken over and humans must hide and fight for survival. We learn more about the evil that has invaded the Alasharians and what it wants. Lasar, Nary and Chris deepen their relationship. Friends and enemies are found and the men must figure out a way to survive and fight before it is too late. It was nice to see the relationship and trust begin to take shape between the three. Chris learns that he has a much bigger role to play in all of this and must find a way to come to terms about everything. Watching Chris come into his own was a nice read and seeing the way all the characters begin to develop was engaging. There is lots of intrigue and mystery going on and you never know who is on what side. It will be interesting to see just what happens next in this series.

If you are a fan of Heather Rainier and her Divine Creek Ranch series you will enjoy this guide. The Insider’s guide gives you excerpts, music lists for the stories and the author’s thoughts on her books and characters.  You will be able to return to the world of Divine and see some of the thought process that went into these characters and their stories.  I enjoyed being able to see the thoughts and ideas that went into this series. Each of the books gets a short explanation from the author about it and an excerpt picked by the author. If you have read the books this guide will bring back the feelings that you had reading them and if not, it will surely have you ready to go pick them up to read.

Alongside the excerpts you are treated to a short story featuring LuAnn, Mayn and Daniel. Once again, the author does a wonderful job of bringing three people together. The love and attraction shines through in this story right from the start. Their story may be a short one but the emotions are strong and the characters are well rounded.  I enjoyed watching these three find their way and hope to see more from them in the future.

There is so much to enjoy in this book and fans of Divine Creek should not pass it up.  Love and life is always an adventure in Divine and you never know what to expect. I enjoyed getting a closer look at the characters and their lives.

Cassie has lived her life under the thumb of men who were supposed to love and care for her but all she got was disdain and pain. Even her love of music is taken away from her. Her only saving solace in her life is that she has two beautiful children and she has now made it on her own and gotten out from the men and their hurtful ways. When the two most important men from her past show up in her life again Cassie must make a choice to take back what was taken from her all those years ago or let it slip away once again.

Cassie’s story is a beautiful read. She pulls herself up and out of her painful past and makes a good life for herself. Her life may not have gone the way she wanted or thought it would but she made the best of what she had. With the return of Samson and Ivan to Divine Cassie can grab a hold of what she truly wants. She finds that their love never died and the two men accept her any way that they can get her. They love her and will do anything to prove their worth to her. Cassie only needs to take a leap of faith and grab hold of that love.

 
I enjoyed watching Cassie and her men reunite. They are a bit older and a lot smarter. Ivan and Samson are both great men. Each loves Cassie in his own way. Cassie loves both men equally and goes through her own emotions and thoughts on where their relationship will go. The three are great together in and out of the bedroom. The sex is hot and the love and interaction between the three is nice to see. I really liked seeing Cassie fight to take her life back into her own hands with the help of her men and the support of her children. It was also nice to see Cassie and her men interact with many of the others in Divine. I am excited to see just what will happen next in this series.

Teresa has come to town with a past that she can’t escape from. She longs to be free and to enjoy her life without having to look over her shoulder. The only safe thing in her life is her son but Angel is determined to be another. He is more than willing to wait for Teresa. Angel can see that she is worth it. When his brother Joaquin comes to town there is nothing that can stop these two cowboys from showing Teresa just what true love is and giving her and her son a family worth loving.

Teresa’s story is a sweet read. Angel and Joaquin are good men who take their time and give Teresa and her son just what they need. The three are good together in and out of the bedroom and the men take easily to being fathers. The love that they have for Teresa and Michael Is evident in all that they do and say. It was nice to see how the men interacted with Teresa’s son Michael. The time that they took in wooing Teresa showed the depth of their love. While it was nice to see Teresa blossom under the love of these two men I was surprised at how quickly she does. She is very naive about sex and men having lived a very sheltered life and when she opens up she truly lets go and quickly. Teresa will let nothing stand in the way of her happy ending and she has the love of her men and the support of her friends to help her.

I enjoyed seeing Grace and Teresa’s relationship deepen as well. Teresa soon finds that she is well loved and has many friends willing to help her. When she needs support the most Teresa does not even have to ask. Her friends are there before she can even think to ask.  It was nice to see everyone come together for each other.  We get to meet new characters and see more from some of the other characters in this world keeping you excited and eager to see what will happen next in Divine.

Tara Lain weaves a wonderful story in this book. Each of the characters are strong and grow in their own way and together they are unbreakable. Each man compliments the other and is more than ready to support the others. Mac, Daniel and Trelain are wonderful together. Their love is so strong it is almost a tangible thing. I truly enjoyed Mac the most. He grows so much through this tale and must make the hardest or easiest choice of following his heart or letting the best men to come into his life slip away. Daniel and Trelain decide to let their hearts rule and embrace this adventure with everything that they have.  When a threat to Trelain comes Mac and Daniel must rely on one another to get through it. Seeing the three form a bond was a nice read and I especially enjoyed seeing Mac and Daniel find their way. Love is something that should not be ignored and these men learn this lesson the hard way.

Jack has always liked Grace but knew that she was off-limits because of her relationship. When circumstances bring Grace into Jack's life even more and she needs his help with her  bad relationship all bets are off.  Jack's feelings begin to deepen and Ethan and Adam are just as smitten with grace as him. The three have always known that they would share one woman between them and it was just a matter of finding that right woman. With Grace it looks as if all the pieces are falling in place.  Will Grace find love with each of these men and is she willing to share her love all around?

There is so much emotion in this story. Grace and her men go on a journey that takes them to a place that they never thought they would be and that journey continues to bring them surprises and happiness along the way. It was nice to watch Grace grow and find herself with the help of these three men.The love that they all have for each other is a wonderful thing to see. Each man shares something special with Grace and in turn is loved by her. The men share a friendship that is so deep it makes them more than brothers and sharing Grace comes naturally. I enjoyed watching the love and understanding blossom with everyone. Their journey was a wonderful one and it has yet to end. I cannot wait to see what else life has in store for them.

The author brought these characters and their world beautifully to life. Not only did  the main characters have a lot to say but many of the supporting characters had a lot to say and I cannot wait to see what is in store for this world next.

Once Tara found out the truth about the man that she married she quickly divorced him and moved away to live with her Uncle and restart her life. While she begins her new life she makes some new friends that include the two deputies that have Tara enjoying her life again. As Tara begins to think that her life is starting to get back on track it seems that her Uncle is not happy with her choices and add in the crime that has the town on edge. Can Tara find her own way in life without losing what her heart wants?

I enjoyed Tara’s story. She is a strong woman who finds so much more than what she was looking for. Bryant and Travis are both good men who love with all their hearts. Tara and her men make a good team and nothing will stand in their way once they put their minds to it. Love is not what any of them are looking for but it soon finds its way into tall three hearts and it does not let go. Now the only question is if these three are willing to fight for it. I enjoyed seeing the three work through everything. They are good together and watching them together made for a fun read. They are not only hot together but their personalities mesh nicely. It was nice to see Tara finding herself and standing up for not only herself but the men that she cares for. Not only do we get to see Bryant and Travis give Tara what she needs but we also get to see many of the supporting characters step up and have something to say. I enjoyed watching the interactions with not only Tara and her men but everyone in the town. There are still a few questions that were not answered for me and I would love to know what happened to her ex-husband after all that he did. I hope to visit this town again and see just what adventures come next.
