Author Cat Grant’s Irresistible Attractions series is a delight to read. I loved meeting Connor and Wes in the first book, Priceless, and FEARLESS continues their story with a few twists that leave you scrambling to turn the page to see what happens next. I have to strongly recommend you read book one, Priceless, before you read FEARLESS, as this story makes mention of the events in the first book a few times and you may be a bit confused. What I love about th is series is how real the characters are. They live, work, love like the rest of us yet the reader gets a sense of how much the author really knows her characters. You can tell by reading these stories in the Irresistible series. Who hasn’t wanted to tell their loved one to stop hovering or find out that they were keeping something from you to keep you from worrying? The dynamics between Wes and Connor are magnified in the story as Wes tries to finish getting his Phd and try to give Connor some love as well. Connor is determined to keep Wes safe after the bloody beating Wes got haunts his every waking moment. The characters continue to wrap their way around you and steal your heart in the process. I was on pins and needles, eager to see if these two would be able to kiss and make up before their big day.

FEARLESS is more about two people in love, it is about letting bad memories stop keeping you hostage while trusting your partner as well as yourself that life can go on, will go on and that just because some bad things happened, it shouldn’t color your whole perspective. FEARLESS is about accepting yourself, your lover and trust that your heart knows what it is doing even as you feel you need to protect your loved one from life. But life has a way of slapping you on the head, saying knock it off. It’s about letting yourself trust that the person you are sharing your life with is the perfect partner for you, that they ‘get’ who you are and love you for that. FEARLESS is all that and more. This is a story that weaves a magic spell around you, steals your heart and you just itch for more of these wonderful characters. 

I am eager to see what happens next for Connor, Wes and the rest of the Irresistible Attractions characters in the next book. I highly recommend this series if you enjoy happily for now stories with adorable characters and a fast paced storyline. Cat Grant has a new fan after reading FEARLESS. I can’t wait for more of her work in the future.

Out, proud of it and determined to live life on his own terms, he works as a waiter as well as a up and coming romance writer. When these two meet for the first time, sparks fly between them but Cole has issues, namely he is firmly in the closet but soon Cole’s sexy drawl and shyness overcome Marc’s reservations and soon both men are falling in love. But when issues arise at Cole’s parent’s place, it brings tension and a stress that could end things between them unless they are willing to fight for each other and their relationship. Can Cole and Wes get beyond their fears and find that strength that binds them amid the love they share together?

Cat Grant delivers a strong emotionally gripping novel that leaves you slumped in the chair, gasping for air. This is a no holds barred look into a man’s struggle against post-traumatic stress disorder, how it affects his everyday life plus his desire for love even as he tries to stay away from it. Ms. Grant tells a tale that will leave you with tears in your eyes and a desire for more after that last page is read. The story a flow seamlessly, captures your interest from the beginning and doesn’t let you put the book down, even to eat dinner. What draws me to this story is how the two main characters grown in the story as love weaves itself around them, opens doors long thought shut inside them as well as lets them shine with the one person who really gets them. Its that one person who sees you at your worst and doesn’t flinch as they hold your hands and gives you the strength to keep moving on, to reaching that next level in life. This is an author who knows how to let her characters shine bright and lets them run loose within the pages of ONCE A MARINE.

ONCE A MARINE is more than guy meets guy, they fall in love and live happily ever after. It’s more than that. Its about facing your demons, of letting yourself lean on someone when you are tired of the weight on your shoulders and trusting them to be there for you, of letting yourself believe you are worthy of love even though you know you might get hurt. It is all this and more. Cat Grant delivers a strong, emotionally rich story to keep the reader spellbound till the very end. Cole and Marc are two characters I fell in love with the moment they locked eyes on one another and you felt something special connect between them. If you are looking for a story that leaves you smiling in the end, with characters who are multi-dimensional and grow on you to a storyline that touches on serious topics in a way that leaves you eager to help out in real life, then grab ONCE A MARINE, settle in and be prepared to fall in love with an author, a book and a set of characters that steal your heart. I look forward to seeing where this new to me author goes in the future and can’t wait to see what she has next for her readers.

Steve Campbell looked like he had it all. Money, success and a hot woman any time he needed one. When he finds himself in a rut, watching his best friend Connor find happiness with his boyfriend, Wes & finds himself daydreaming of Connor and it shocks him on how strong his feelings are for Connor. Rattled, Steve is shocked at how intrigued he is by Dylan Monroe, a male escort who shows Steve just what he needs in life. Will Steve’s reflection on his life show him just what he needs now instead of nameless hook-ups and lots of alcohol?

Cat Grant’s second story in the Irresistible Attraction series is Steve’s discovery on who he is. His life is a bit lonely, in a rut and he finds he has unrequited feelings for his best friend, who by the way is deliriously happy with his boyfriend, Wes. Steve is a little lost, a man who is at a crossroads. I loved how he grew as a character in DOUBTLESS. He wasn’t the fun lovin’ guy from Priceless (book one) but one who finds he isn’t happy anymore. Dylan Monroe is a man who is confidant, knows what he wants and how to get there. I loved the dynamics between Dylan and Steve. You could see the friendship grow between them even as Steve forked the money over for Dylan’s company. It wasn’t all about sex between them either. Dylan’s insightfulness showed Steve just where he can change, grow and be happier. The story is short, sexy and leaves you breathless. Ms. Grant is a marvelous storyteller who knows how to keep the reader entertained with a story that weaves its spell around you. I enjoyed seeing Wes and Connor again and can’t wait to see if Steve’s changes in his life stick around.

Though I do caution you, DOUBTLESS doesn’t have a happily ever after ending. This ending will leave you shocked and hopeful at the same time. I don’t want to spoil it for those who haven’t read it yet but be prepared to run to the author’s website to see if there is another book in the series.

DOUBTLESS is a story of one man’s search for happiness, for a change in his life that gets him out of a rut and happy about life in general again. The sparks between Dylan and Steve are smoking hot and the author does a great job in conveying those sparks in the story. The story has romantic elements so it isn’t a romance per say but there is also some simmering sexual tension as well between Dylan and Steve that leaves the reader eager for more. Ms. Grant does a great job in creating a character you would love to hate but Steve endeared himself to me as he was genuinely determined to change his life. I look forward to seeing if this author picks up Steve’s story again and he can get his happily ever after once and for all.

Here was a young guy who thinks, breathes and loves physics as much as he does. But what Connor doesn’t know is that Wes Martin was there for a reason and when Connor finds out, things change between the two. Can Connor forgive Wes for the subterfuge and secrets or will Connor walk away from the one man that can hold his heart?

Cat Grants introduces us to her Irresistible Attractions series with PRICELESS, a story of two people who find themselves falling for one another amid a few secrets on Wes’s side. Cat Grant will tease you, captivate you and make you eager for more after you are done with this book. She is a masterful storyteller who knows how to keep her readers entertained until the very end. PRICELESS is more than two people finding love, it’s about finding forgiveness, to letting the secrets go and accepting that love is there if you want it. The writing is tight, story flowed nicely and the characters are riveting. You feel such emotion within the pages and I cried a few times, especially as Wes tried to deal with his choice of a job to pay the bills and his tuition.

Meet Wes & Connor. Two people who enjoy physics immensely. Connor is the star at Berkeley for his work in the Physics department and Wes is in awe of him. But when these two meet, sparks fly though Wes has a few secrets that, if known to Connor, may have the man he is falling for walk away…forever. The sparks between Connor and Wes are blindingly hot. There were moments I wondered if my e-reader would catch on fire from all the sparks that they threw about. The secondary characters keep the story moving and there were a few twists that had me on the edge of my seat wondering what happens next.

PRICELESS is a short novella but one packed with enough heat and story to make any reader want more when the last page is read. If you are looking for a sexy, hot story to enjoy on a cold November night, then grab PRICELESS and settle in for one hot time. I recommend having a bag of ice or your significant other nearby to help cool you down. I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for her readers in the future.
