Even though she tries to keep him at bay, she is highly attracted to the handsome man. But how can she give in to him and see him die?

I always love reading stories by Betty Hanawa. She always entertains me and gives me a story that keeps me captivated. This one is no different. It is a delightful story and I fell in love with the characters. I felt so sorry for poor Lucy. She liked sex, wanted sex and needed sex but had to hold back. Then there is Benedict, oh I liked Benedict so much. He really wants Lucy, but she’s keeping him at bay and he is being such a gentleman. I kept turning the pages furiously to see if there is just a glimmer of hope that these two star-struck lovers can have a future together. It looks pretty dark...but dear reader keep reading because Ms. Hanawa throws in some twists and turns and gives an ending that is surprising and satisfying. I just wished this story was a bit longer....with more character development, or the ending gone a little further. But, it’s worth the read.

Good thing she’s got her gun trained on him. He could be one of those poachers and had somehow gotten the animal out. Dylan thinks Haley is crazy to insist that there was an animal in the cage. All he knows is he had a blackout and found himself there instead. Then, when Haley lets her guard down, he shifts and wakes up in her home. When she shows him the pictures she took of him shifting he can hardly believe his eyes. The Amazonian woman intrigues him and he wants her. Haley wants him too, but she’s not too fond of the cat in him. But she has a way of helping him to control the beast and Dylan finds himself willing to endure her sweet torture.

Now this is a hot, hot story. Betty Hanawa has written a sensual, delicious story that takes two people and throws them together. The attraction is instantaneous and combustible; the sex is erotic and toe curling. The plot is also interesting too and an interesting take on shape shifters. This is part of a series and does need to be read together with the others as together, they provide a well-rounded story. If you only read one, it’s just a part of the whole and you’ll be wondering what happens next? Ms. Hanawa puts a lot of emotion into her story and you feel the confusion that Dylan experiences, the surprise, the red-hot lust and you’ll be rooting for the two of them. I just had to get the rest of this series to see how it all ends and to read about more of these hunky, delickable shape shifting cats. I know you lovers of all things furry, who also love lots of graphic sex will gobble these stories up, I did! So, what are you waiting for? Go grab yourself some hot shapeshifter books right now!
