Get ready as BLOOD AND MAGIC collides in the valley.

I was so excited to see BLOOD AND MAGIC back out to readers. I read it when it first came out and was blown away by Ms. Austin multi-dimensional characters, great plot twists and some really sensual love scenes that keep you hanging. I really enjoyed the way Kella and Tanne find a way to work their unconventional relationship and to try to keep the teacher/student separate from the lover angle. With the right amount of angst, passion, and magic, Ms. Austin delivers a story that leaves the reader breathless. Add in some people who just don’t want to see them together, a few new found friends who make an appearance and other secondary characters that keep the story flowing smoothly, will leave the reader eager to know more.

Here you meet Kella, a virgin Vampire, sheltered and in training to be a priestess. Meeting Tanne opens her eyes to a whole new world of men, desire and magic that pulses inside her veins. A magic that no one has ever seen before…until now that is. I love Kella. She is a very strong heroine who finds her path in life and it is one that will shake up the old way of thinking and eventually change the way people see things. Her scenes with Tanne are a pure delight…sometimes soft and tender and other times so erotic, it was hard to not jump my significant other to release the tension coiled inside me. Ms. Austin really delivers a world where intriguing character are the norm and humans are not.
BLOOD AND MAGIC is a really intriguing story that will captivate you from the start. With characters that evolve throughout the book, twists and turns that leave you breathless and an author who really gets to the heart of the two main characters, Ms. Austin’s BLOOD AND MAGIC is definitely one of those books you want to read again. I look forward to reading the next adventure for Kella and Tanne and if you enjoy a great story full of magic, passion and mystery, then run, don’t walk, to grab BLOOD AND MAGIC. I was hooked all over again and so will you.
