Angie talked with Kelley Heckart this week about writing and the holidays.
Hi Angie!
Thanks for having me on your blog.
Are any
of your books centered around Christmas? Tell us a bit about them please.
I have a
short story in an anthology called A Winter Solstice Kiss that is centered
around Christmas/Winter Solstice. It’s about a woman trying to cope with her
husband’s death. She meets someone at a winter masquerade party and it’s kind
of a magical meeting.
And for
the New Year, of course: what are your 5 New Year's writing/reading
resolutions?
I tried making
New Year’s resolutions in the past and I never kept them so I will try my best
to write and read as much as possible in 2013. I have one 3-book series almost
finished and another one to complete so I will be busy next year. One thing I
would like to improve is marketing online. I need to define my marketing goals
in 2013. The best places for promotion keep changing so I need to drop the
venues that no longer work for me and focus on the new ones.
