Two young men growing up in a world full of anger and danger yet they find solace in one another. Tek and Jamie have a bond that is like no other. It is stronger than anything and it is the only thing that makes everything worth while. Yet the love and trust that builds between them is the one thing that  can get them killed, even from those that are supposed to have their backs.  As Tek and Jamie grow so does their bond and the anger at having to hide it. The two will never have a chance to be themselves in the biker gang that they were born into. Trained to follow in their father’s footsteps Tek will rule with Jamie always at his side but never able to truly be together.  As the two begin to mature their feelings never waver but their alliance to the bikers and the  outlaw lifestyle does. When circumstances come to a head Tek and Jamie take the only way out that they can. But will it be enough? Can they truly find a way to be happy and free?

I am a big fan of this series and truly enjoyed this book. I loved listening to the audio version, the narrator; Rusty Topsfield brings the characters to life and has the listener quickly immersed in the story.  I really enjoyed the banter between Tek and Jamie. Their love and friendship is strong and comes through strongly.  The two men go through so much and fight hard to survive.  Against all the odds the two find a way to stay together never doubting each other or their feelings. When fate leads them to the Guards of Folsom their prayers may be answered and they can only hope that their past is just that: their past.

I loved seeing Jamie and Tek grow into such good men. No matter what they did or have been through the two men always stayed true to themselves and each other.  Their relationship never wavered, no matter how hard things became. Each man is always there for the other no matter what happens.  Their trust and love is something that will never die, it only gets stronger.

This is a fast paced story that I quickly became lost in and I am eagerly waiting for the next one in this series.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
