Life is never boring
for Allegro especially on Fridays when his magic causes the most chaos but this
Friday he gets the surprise of his life when he meets a bear shifter who does
not scare away so easily. Allegro has no idea what to do when Michael does not
turn tail and run. In fact Michael makes it known that he is doing just the
opposite and seeking out Allegro. Can the two work through Allegro’s mishaps or
will it begin to put a strain on their budding relationship. Along with the
chaos that his magic causes it seems that someone is out to get Allegro. Will
they succeed in driving Michael away and Allegro back home?
Allegro and Michael’s book is a sweet read. Their story moves along at a nice pace and I enjoyed watching their relationship begin to take shape. Alli is used to being alone and it was nice to see him open up and let Michael in. Michael is a good man and wants nothing more than to share his life with Alli. He is a strong man and fights hard to get Alli to let him in. Not only did I enjoy meeting Michael but I also loved his family and the way that they interacted and many times stealing the spotlight in the scenes that they were in. The love that Michael and his family have is evident and seeing that love include Alli was nice. Michael and Alli go through a lot of emotions in this story and they learn that love is there to catch you when you fall if you will just let it in.
As I read Alli and Michael’s story I found many of the supporting characters grabbing my attention. This story is a good start to this new series and I cannot wait to return to this world for more.
