A simple run in on the beach brings three men together. Each one is dealing with his own problems, but fate continues to bring them together no matter how hard they try to deny things. David is trying to get back on his feet and away from an abusive ex, so he certainly does not want anything to do with Gareth and Edge, especially when Edge makes his opinion of gay men known. Can David give love another try? Is Gareth ready to stop hiding and will Edge ever find himself? Three men with three different lives. Will they find a way to combine their lives into one?

With three men and three lives there is a lot going on in this book. Gareth is more than ready to come out as gay, David is dealing with an abusive ex-boyfriend and Edge has his own secrets to deal with. Yet that is not enough to stop the attraction that they feel for one another. I enjoyed seeing each relationship blossom between the men. Friendship is put to the test and trust is earned the hard way. It was nice to see each man find his own way with the help of the others. Edge seems to need the most help and the other two are more than willing to give it. Emotions are strong in this story and love is fought hard for. David, Gareth and Edge are good together in and out of the bedroom. I enjoyed the camaraderie between Gareth and Edge watching their friendship take the brunt of things made for an interesting read. David has a big heart and it was nice to see him ready to share it with both Edge and Gareth. Their story is a great beginning to the Balls To The Wall series.
