Chino is on a mission, but he is not so sure that he will succeed. Traveling through the desert in search of his other half seems like a one in a million task but he was sent here by one he respects and hopes that he will find what he is searching for. When two dragons come to him asking for help Chino knows that he cannot turn them down, there is also something about the two dragons that pulls to him. As he follows the dragons, they bring him to a man who is hurt and barely hanging on. Chino must help the man and his dragons. Not only because it is the right thing to do but Chino knows there is a connection somewhere and he is ready to find out just what it is with Oliver and his dragons that pulls him in.

I enjoyed meeting Chino and Oliver, their story makes for an engaging read. Chino is a strong man; military is his life, but he soon finds something more with Oliver and the dragons. The only question is if he will stay and follow his heart. Chino and Oliver have an instant attraction, but Oliver does not want to pressure Chino and lets the man find his own way. The two are good together and it was nice to see the way they interacted as their relationship began to take shape. The dragons in this story are small and mischievous and steal every scene that they are in. It was nice to see not only the two men bond but also the bond between the dragons and the men as well. Each dragon has their own personality just as strong as Chino and Oliver’s personality’s, which added a nice element to the story. This book maybe a quick read but it has a lot to say. The author weaves a good story with strong characters and emotions that has you wanting to return to this world for more.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
