When Master Ford is called on to help a submissive who is in danger his honor
is put to the test. Ford never thought helping out a fellow Dom would be
anything more than doing a good deed, but he finds himself reacting to Cody.
Only Cody belongs to another, and Ford will not go after someone he has been
asked to protect. Little does Ford know but it seems that Cody has feelings of
his own. What will happen when it is time for these two to part? Will they each
ignore what they could have, or will they fight for it?
Cody and Master Ford’s story is a quick one. I enjoyed meeting Master Ford and Cody. The attraction between the two makes for a hot read. It was interesting to see the difference in Ford and the other Dom. The author does a nice job of bringing these characters to life; they are well developed and full of emotions, but I did feel that the ending felt a bit rushed. Their attraction is deep and quick. Their story is an engaging one and pulls you in right from the start. This story may be a short one, but it has a lot to say. Master Ford is a strong but caring man who must decide if he is willing to follow his heart and fight for what he could have or let it fall out of his grasp so easily. Emotions rule this story, and you are quickly pulled in and rooting for love.
