This book continues the Alien Blood Wars series. It is the seventh book in the series and we are now closing in on what could be the war of all wars. This is Willem and Damien’s story. Willem has taken a chance and brought his daughter to the rest of the men and thankfully they have brought them into the fold. Even though she is young they recognize his daughter to be the Queen that she is. Willem will do anything to keep his daughter safe and coming to his captain and the rest of the men is the safest thing to do but in doing so he risks not only lives but his heart as well. A young human has grabbed his attention and no matter how hard Willem tries to fight it there is no denying the attraction that they two have for each other. When the men must ask Damien to work with them against their enemy. Willem cannot ignore what he and Damien have. As the two work to find their way they must also fight the enemy on all fronts. Will they survive and get a chance at a happy ever after or will it all go up in flames?

I enjoyed this book. Willem and Damien are good together. Damien is a strong young man and he is more than willing to fight for those that cannot. Willem loves and fights with his whole heart and nothing will stop him from helping those that he cares about. It was nice to see the interaction between Willem and Damien. The two have an intense relationship and all too soon it is put to the test. Not only do we get to watch their relationship take shape but we also get to see how the men come together and fight their enemy. The men are a unit and always willing to help each other, it was nice to see the way they all have become a family that will stop at nothing to help one another. There are a few side stories going on as well in this book yet it all ties together and never seems to distract from Willem and Damien it only enhances their journey. The author has created an engaging series and this is a nice addition to it. I am excited to see just what happens next in this world.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
