When Sera finds out what her soon to be husband truly wants of her, she tries to fight for herself and in doing so angers him. He retaliates by disfiguring her and Sera finds herself seeking sanctuary in Arcanium, but will Bell give it to her after all that has been done to Arcanium and if he does can he keep her and his circus safe?

I have enjoyed this series from book one and this book is no different. It is full of emotions and angst. Sera is a fae and because of a vindictive act she is no longer of value to her kind. Her beauty is marred and her chances at finding love with her own are gone. Sera takes the one chance that she has at finding a safe place. Those that she finds at Arcanium are so different than she imagined. Two have taken notice of her and Sera must make some hard choices. I enjoyed watching Sera grow as she does a lot of inner searching. Sera has grown up seeing the practical side of things but when her heart enters the picture, she does not know what to do. It was nice to see the way the Horned God and Sera interacted. They are both from another world and time and their connection is interesting. I enjoyed seeing Sera’s relationship between both Carlo and the Horned God take shape, the three are good together. Their story is not only a hot read but also one that contains depth.

SILK is the latest book in the Arcanium series and readers must read the previous books to really understand and enjoy it. The author does a good job of keeping this series fresh as it continues the storyline of this circus and those with in it.

Everyone at Arcanium thought they were safe, at least as safe as they could be under Bell Madoc. He has turned their lives upside down but soon another evil is going to show its face and everyone including Bell is going to suffer. Will Bell find a way to stop the evil before it takes his beloved Arcanium from him or are all his people doomed to a Hell worse than they live now? A new demon wants to rule, and he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Turning Arcanium into his new playground and letting the worst of the worst in to play. As he tortures and turns everyone against each other, he fixates on those that Belle has favored and especially Neve. Can Neve survive this new Hell? Will Bell ever find them and save them?

I am enjoying each new book in the Arcanium series. As much as Belle twists the wishes of those, he keeps in his circus it does not compare to what other demons want to do to those in Arcanium. One such demon has plotted to take Arcanium from Bell for some time and now it looks like he may have succeeded in doing just that. Those that thought they were safe are now going through torture in the extreme and Neve has caught this demon’s eye. He is pure evil, and she must learn to survive. As Neve learns to bend to his will, she still holds out hope of Bell finding Arcanium and setting them free from this new Hell. This was an interesting turn of events in this series. We see just how strong the bonds are between people and we get to see a tentative bond beginning to grow between Neve and both Sasha and Mikhail. HAUNTED pulls you in right from the start and does not let go until the end. The author does a wonderful job of keeping readers on their toes and giving you the unexpected and fulfilling your hunger at the same time.

Elizabeth has been through hell and back. When she ran away from her religious cult family, she ran right into the arms of evil but eventually found her way back to her family. A simple outing with a misplaced wish has Elizabeth in a place that she believes is worse than Hell. Yet the ones that she seeks solace with are more like the hell she endured while away from her religious cult family. Can a jinni and his circus truly help Elizabeth face her fears and find a way to stand on her own? Can the creatures from nightmares be the ones who will help save her?

Once again, I was pulled into the wondrous world of the Arcanium Circus. Elizabeth is a strong-willed woman even though she perceives that her will is and has always been taken from her. As she figures out just where her heart lays and how she fits in Elizabeth begins to fight against and dismiss her fears. With the help from someone that she never thought she would look to help her, Elizabeth may just find her strength. I loved seeing Elizabeth come into her own and find the truth about herself. Elizabeth must decide on who her true enemies are and who she will trust to keep her safe. It was interesting to see her father make an appearance and his reaction to the circus and I hope that he shows up in the series again.

This is book six and the author has kept this series fresh and entertaining. In Elizabeth’s story we are also introduced to someone who just might give Bell a run for his money and I am eager to see what will happen next in this world.

This book brings us back to the world of Arcanium the circus ruled by magic and demons. Valorie is feeling out of sorts lately. So many years ago she was cursed by a flippant wish to become a performer in Arcanium. Yet even after her time was deemed over she stayed in the circus. They are her family now. So many years have passed and now Valorie must do some soul searching and when her old fiancée shows up at the circus it throws her world into even more chaos. Bell has given her the fire eater to appease her growing unease but is John enough to keep her heart and soul bound to Arcanium?

This is an interesting and engaging story. Valorie is a strong woman. She was taken away from the life she knew but has since made a life for herself all these years later. We learn a lot about her past and what kind of woman she is underneath the shields that she has put up. I enjoyed watching her relationship with John take shape. We watch as Valorie wrestles with life and love as she  turns inward and  takes a good look at herself and just where her life has lead her. We wonder if she will stay or leave the circus that has become her family.  Valorie is not one of my favorite characters in this series yet through this I got to see the how’s and whys of her life and begin to understand her better and maybe even begin to like her more.  Love is not always easy sometimes you hold on tight and sometimes you have to let go.  This time it is Valorie’s turn to learn this lesson.

Once again the author weaves a good story that brings so many emotions from these characters to the forefront and has this reader wondering just who will be the next victim to join Arcanium. It is always easy to make a wish but is it so easy to live with the consequences of that wish?  Only hope that you never have to make that choice like those in the Arcanium circus.

Aerial is another great addition to the Arcanium Circus series. In this latest book we get the story of Lars and Seth. Two young men who found more than fun during their visit to the circus. Their friendship is pushed to the limits when a wish is granted and they are stuck in the circus until Bell sees fit to release them. Can the two find a way to survive their misfortune or will this adventure tear the two apart?  Is it truly a misfortune or is this a blessing in disguise? Only time will tell if the two men can learn to work together and last through their time in Arcanium.

This author does a wonderful job of bringing these characters and their world to life. She brings a new twists to wishes, Jinni and the circus. Life behind the scenes at Arcanium can be scary especially when a Jinni like Bell is in charge. Seth and Lars have always been close and worked well together but their curse tests them like no other thing has before. Add in the sexual tension that constantly resides at the circus and you get to watch the sparks not only fly but explode. The two must work through their emotions as they find a way to survive their turmoil. Love and lust are all mixed together and the men find it hard to make heads or tails of  their time at the circus. I enjoyed watching Lars and Seth find their way and try to come to terms with their predicament. Their friendship and how much they truly care for each other is evident in all that they do. It was nice to see the friendship that the men make with the twins Joanna and Jane as well as how many of the other acts react to the men joining the circus.
I loved returning to the magical world of Arcanium and cannot wait to see what will happen next at this circus. Seth and Lars quickly endeared themselves to me and I loved seeing the two work through it all and find their place in Arcanium.
