Gideon does not want a wife, he doesn’t want to be paraded in front of anyone’s daughter or granddaughter and he definitely doesn’t want to walk down an aisle. So he is running away. Then he runs into a woman in trouble, thing is, she’s holding a shotgun on him, but he can’t refuse someone who needs help so after he calms her down he helps change the wheel on her wagon.

Chloe has the responsibility of her grandmother and twin girls. They sold up everything and are headed for a better life, until their wagon wheel broke. Thank goodness the big, handsome fellow showed up. With her grandmother’s blessing, Chloe gives Gideon a night of pleasure and Gideon is surprised at how the little lady is crawling under his skin. When Grandma, the twins, the wagon and the horses disappear, he and Chloe have to stay together to find them. Gideon was sure he didn’t need a woman, but he may just change his mind.

Well, if Gideon is stubborn, Chloe makes it up in courage. These two are perfectly matched and it was a whole lot of fun reading their story. Ms. Williamson has done a great job bringing these two unlikely lovers together. She’s surrounded them with a lot of danger and some hot romance. She writes sassy, witty dialogue and I loved how Chloe held her own against the stubborn, bossy Gideon. Ms. Williamson brings us into the Wild West and brings it all to life. I really enjoyed this story. The adventure, the romance, it has it all. The love scenes were sensually romantic and they will curl your toes. This is the kind of story that will have you longing for a big, handsome cowboy of your own to come meandering into your backyard. I certainly fell in love with Gideon right along with Chloe. It has the kind of ending that put a tear in my eye and pulled at my heart strings. I urge you, if you love a good Western, please pick up a story from this talented author.

Beth Williamson is an awesome writer. She not only writes some of the hottest sex scenes on the planet, but she incorporates so much emotion and feeling that this reviewer was reaching for a hanky at the end of the story. Ms. Williamson tells about two characters whose marriage had become stale and so they have divorced. A mutual friend intervenes when she sees they have both changed. This reviewer adored the fact that even though Nicholas was at first the bad boy, he did more than enough groveling...and literally! Renny is a woman who gets her act together and becomes the sensual creature that she’s hidden away. This reviewer can highly recommend this story for lovers of BDSM. It will rock your hearts!
