Because of his past and his abuse Stefano hides his true self but when he sees Master Riku Stefano becomes even more confused at his body’s reactions to the man. Master Riku is taken by Stefano the moment he lays eyes on him but the reaction Stefano has baffles Master Riku. The sparks are there but will Stefano and Riku take the chance on a future when both men have a past that haunts them? Could fanning the flames bring these two what they want or will it only hurt them in the end?

This is an interesting story of overcoming past abuse both physical and sexual. Stefano must learn how to deal with what happened to him and learn to understand what he wants and needs. We are along for the ride as he discovers a new an fulfilling life. Riku has demons in his own past and as he fights for what he wants he must also confront what holds him back. The two are hot together but they need so much more than what they get on the surface. This story delves into what he takes to heal and just how far these men will try and work towards their happiness. While I did not fully connect with these two men I enjoyed being along for their journey. Theirs’s is a hard fought one and it will pull on your heart at times. Showing us that love is sometimes a hard fight but always worth that fight.

Chris and Jase have worked on shoots for years but have always kept things professional. Even though both men are drawn to the other they have always been model and photographer never crossing the line to anything more than that. When a romance convention brings them a chance to get closer both men jump at the chance. The sparks fly right from the start but both men are afraid to take a chance. As the two spend more time together during the convention it gets harder to hide their true feelings but if they act on their true feelings will it last past the convention?

I enjoyed Chris and Jase’s story. The two make a good couple and it was nice to be along for the ride as they work towards their happiness. The two are strong characters and they endeared themselves to this reader right away. Each man has worries and doubts and their story has its ups and downs. Jase works hard to make his dreams come true and it was nice to see how supportive Chris is. Being a reader and having been to a convention myself it was interesting to see a story from the other side of things. This story is not only about romance but also the bond of friendship and its strength. The author does a wonderful job of giving these characters life and making their emotions shine. Jase and Chris find that love is worth fighting for and never to never give up.

Heath has lived his life through books always longing for the real thing but never imagining that there was a real man out there that would measure up to those in his books. When Xavier comes into Heath’s world everything his knows goes out the window. Heath does not know if he should take a chance and try living the life he has only dreamt of. Xavier is determined to give Heath what he seeks and will not take no for an answer. Can the two find a way to a happy ever after or will their story end before they get a chance?

I enjoyed Xavier and Heath’s story. The two are good together and make a nice couple. Their story is both a sweet and a hot one. Heath is a strong man who gets to explore what he thought he would never see. Xavier is a good man who learns that there is more to life than what he always thought. It was nice to see Xavier show Heath a new world and give him what he longs for. I loved seeing not only the development of their relationship but also the friendships that Heath makes with the other men at the club. Xavier and Heath must learn to communicate and figure out what they truly want before it costs them everything. This story moves along at a nice pace, it may not have as much angst as others before it, but it is still a nice addition to the series.

A simple walk in the woods turns Vladimir’s world upside down. Little does he know the importance of the man that he finds on the brink of death. Vladimir has always been content with being the second born and knowing that he would never be alpha of the pack, but this new man begins to change everything. Soon Frankie begins to heal and the truth of what he is to Vladimir is realized. Can the two figure out just who hurt Frankie and why? As they unravel the truth behind everything new threats are shown, and Frankie and Vladimir must trust in their newly developing bond, but will that be enough?

Vladimir and Frankie’s story is an interesting one. Each man has a strong personality and together nothing will stop them. As the two try to figure out their relationship they must also find the threat to the pack. I enjoyed seeing the two find their way as their bond grows. Right from the start we see that Vladimir is a good man and wants nothing more than what is good for the pack as a whole. When Frankie enters his world, he adds more goodness to it. The two work together well and it was nice to see both men being able to lean on each other when needed. Their story has a few different things thrown in that to be just padding to the story. I would have liked to see more from Ruck, he seems to always be where he is needed but we never get much of him. I enjoyed the friendships and relationships that are made and grow deeper in this story. It was nice to see Vladimir grow and begin to come into himself as the story goes on. The author does a nice job of bringing the characters together and showing the love that is in the pack.
