Poor Ruri, after finding out she was on a spaceship and now someone’s wife, she lashes out and after a year, finds herself lost in how to save her marriage to Kiger. But sarcasm and violence has marred their union and Kiger has found someone else to love. Kiger is tired of trying to love the woman he chose from Earth as his mate and lonely, he finds himself in love with another. Can Ruri make Kiger see that she can love him the way he needs to be loved or is it too late for them both?

BITTER WINE is about some secondary characters that were introduced in the Ta ‘E’ ‘Sha Chronicles’s series by Ms. Boese. This follows Ruri and Kiger and their lonely marriage. I felt so bad for both of them as I read BITTER WINE. Ms. Boese delves deep into the heart of her main characters and you get a sense of how each character feels toward the other. Ruri was taken from her family and friends to a place where she never heard of before, finding out that she was married was a total shock to her system on top of it all. She lashes out at Kiger and after a year of living with the Ta ‘E’ ‘Sha, she finds herself growing up and learning about them. Knowing she was wrong to treat him and others around her so badly, she tries to make amends with Kiger but comes face to face with a shocking surprise that sets of a chain reaction that will have two people learn the way to love is fraught with many twists and turns.

I was thrown for a loop when I read BITTER WINE. It was passionate, loving and very, very emotional. With Ruri finding out that her husband has moved on and many misunderstandings arise as these two stubborn people try to communicate, the reader is taken on a heartfelt journey that leaves you breathless. I do have to mention that this is one very hot book with many explicit sex scenes that may not appeal to everyone.

Ms. Boese delivers a story that hits you on all levels and I was rooting for both Ruri and Kiger to give them a second chance. I look forward to more of the Ta ‘E’ Sha series and hope I don’t have to wait too long for the next installment. If you enjoy a very emotional yet passionate story of two people learning to love again and finding out that forgiveness begins with yourself, then grab BITTER WINE; this is definitely one to keep on the shelf to read again.

CLICK TO PURCHASE! Shay knew what it was like to be on the slave block and after stopping for a minute to watch a slave auction going on, she felt something compelling her to buy the man in shackles. When she bids and wins him, she finds herself with a man who stirs her like no other…well except her husband Raerial. With nasty pirates on their tails, Shay finds herself drawn to the gentle man she rescued and in the process finds a love that completes both her and Raerial and banishes the shadows that dodges their every step. Can Shay and Raerial get Jaed’aden safe from harm and on his way back home before the nastiest pirate in space finds them?

CRIMSON SHACKLES is a spin off to the acclaimed Ta ‘E’ ‘Sha series and is an intriguing blend of sinfully hot passion, a mystery to solve and love that blooms even as it heals. Ms. Boese is one of my favorite authors and she hooks you from the beginning. With her fast paced storyline, tight writing and captivating characters, the reader is drawn into the world of the Ta ‘E’ ‘Sha.

Here you meet Shay and Raerial, owners of the Crimson Shackles and former slaves. At a pit stop to pick up supplies, Shay finds herself drawn to the slave auction and is compelled to bid on Jaed’aden before he is bought by Skand, a notoriously vicious pirate. What Shay and Raerial get is way more than they expected because Jaed’aden is a captured Ta ‘E’ ‘Sha and is determined to survive no matter what the costs are to him. Blossoming under Shay and Raerial’s tender ministrations, Jaed’aden discovers a love like no other and a life he left behind.

Ms. Boese delivers a stirring story that aims straight to your heart and your soul. The passion flares hot then tender, secondary characters that keep the story flowing though, I have to mention there are some sex scenes that may not appeal to everyone (mainly ménages, m/m action and others). CRIMSON SHACKLES is a moving story that delivers the reader another sip in the Ta ‘E’ ‘Sha world. I am just hoping the author has more of this series coming soon.

Will Te’esha be the paradise it claims to be for the human women captured or will it be a darkness that will shatter Thea and destroy her happiness?

SHARDS OF THE MIND is the next installment to a wonderful series that will leave you gasping for more. This reviewer was enthralled with Ms. Boese’s wonderful world where human women are kidnapped to be wives for a race where they need to repopulate or die.

You met Thea and her husbands in the first book, DAUGHTERS OF TERRA and this one picks up several months later. Here Thea is dealing with the after effects of the attack that shook up her world and left her reeling. Now the reality of meeting parents of her husbands and a race that may or may not welcome the human women with open arms comes closer. With each page, the reader glimpses into the heart of all the main characters, including some new ones that take will grasp your heart and not let go. Fast pace, exquisite details and characters that seem to leap off the pages; Ms. Boese delivers an emotional story that is full of erotic passion and simmering emotions amid the pages.

If you enjoy a sexy, sinful book that has multifaceted characters, stirring storylines and sexy alpha males, then grab SHARDS OF THE MIND, the next installment in this author’s acclaimed Ta’e’sha chronicles. I also want to mention that this has some graphic and explicit sexual scenes, violence, bondage, etc that may not appeal to everyone. This reviewer is anxiously awaiting for t he next installment and hope it won’t be long!
