One thing I have to say about this author’s books is that you are always left wanting more when you are done with it. The second book in the marvelous series, Spirits of Abaddon, SANCTIFIED continues Jesse and Gabriel’s journey to find a cure for Jesse after he is hit by Ice Magic and something else. Can they find a cure before Jesse turns into something not even Gabriel knows? This is an author who can deliver some amazing characters, hot sinful sex and a mystery that will keep you glued to the pages till the very end. I love this authors’ work and frankly, I am eager to know more now that I have read SANCTIFIED.

SANCTIFIED continues Jesse and Gabriel’s journey as they try to deal with the aftermath of murder and the desire that blooms between them. With each step, Jesse finds himself drawn further into Gabriel’s world and life. Now with ice magic and a turn bite coursing through his veins, Jesse has no idea what he is becoming but all he knows is that he needs Gabriel like never before. These two characters are delightful together. Each book delivers more twists, turns that will keep the reader flipping the pages to see what happens next. Add in some intriguing secondary characters that keeps the pace flowing and some simmering hot sexual tension, well you need an ice bucket to cool down after this book.

SANCTIFIED is a story that will leave you left wanting more after the last page is read. With the right amount of sex, mystery and passion, this author delivers something so explosive you will need an ice bath to cool down. If you enjoy a wild story that will leave you desiring more, then grab SANCTIFIED. I highly recommend reading the first book, Bad Blood, first as this capitalizes on what happened in that one and continues the storyline. Author Mychael Black is one of those authors you just can’t read one book but all of his books. I look forward to more from this talented author. I just hope it isn’t too long of a wait for the next book.

DESIRE UNTAMED is the first book in a thrilling new paranormal romance series. I was blown away by the sheer world building this author introduces the readers to. Full of intriguing characters, fast paced storyline and simmering passion, Ms. Palmer definitely gives the reader more than they ever imagined within the pages of DESIRE UNTAMED. A lyrical storyteller, Ms. Palmer keeps the tension on high as Lyon and Kara fight their rising passion as they deal with an ancient evil on top of it. Can these two immortals be able to defeat their foe and live happily ever after?

Meet Kara MacAllister, a quiet small town woman who finds her life thrown in a tail spin as a mysterious man kidnaps her and drops a bombshell upon her: She is Immortal and the key to his people’s survival. Sparks fly even as Kara tries to wrap her head around the secrets Lyon reveals to her while trying to figure out her place in the world she will now reside in. I really enjoyed the way Kara and Lyon interact. Between trying to deny their desires to figuring out ways to stop the evil stalking them, Ms. Palmer keeps the tension on high throughout even as you get pieces of the radiant one is, who the feral warriors are and the ones they have been battling for thousands of years. The secondary characters are intriguing and made me want to know more of their stories. The action was fast and the sex scenes, though a little over the top, carried the story along nicely.

DESIRE UNTAMED is a nice introduction to a new dark paranormal series that will keep you entertained till the very end and then running to the internet to see if there are more to come. Ms. Palmer definitely has a new fan and I am eager to read the next two books in the series in the future. If you enjoy a darker paranormal story, then grab DESIRE UNTAMED.
