CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE! When Riggs is called back to the one place he never expected to see again, what he finds there is something much more than he expected. Secrets, lies and more are being hidden by a government he despises. Can Riggs find a way to figure out what the truth is before it’s too late for himself and for the others on the Andora Prime?

A TOUCH OF BLUE is a short story so I am not to go into too many details on it just so I don’t spoil it for those who may have not have read it yet. Michael Davis delves into a science fiction adventure that will draw you in and grab you by the throat. It is a fast paced ride from start to finish. The writing is tight, storyline fast paced and characters are quite interesting. The only thing I was disappointed in was that it was so short. I would love to have seen this as a longer story and gotten a more in-depth look into what happened on Andora Prime before Riggs came back.

Meet Riggs, a retired intel officer, who is drawn back into helping the government he despises just so they could expand their reach in the outer worlds. Riggs learns some news when he goes back to Andora Prime and now he has to decide which stories he was told were truth or fiction. The readers are drawn into this fascinating world Mr. Davis creates and find themselves on a roller coaster ride along with Riggs as he races to find the truth-even if it means going up against Andora Prime’s government. I really enjoyed Riggs. He was complex, intriguing and you get a sense of the turmoil he feels when he returns to the one place he has vowed to never go back to. The dynamics between characters are wonderful and the secondary characters help keep the story on track.

A TOUCH OF BLUE is a fast paced wild ride from start to finish. If you are looking for a short novella to take you to places amid the stars, then grab Michael W. Davis’s wonderful Science Fiction adventure. I look forward to seeing more stories set in this fascinating world.

ESSENCE
is a short science fiction story by author Michael W. Davis that will keep you highly entertained from start to finish. There is an element of a mystery that surrounds Drake & Lara that had me trying to figure out what it was plus this is an author who creates some wonderfully well rounded characters that fairly step off the pages and into your hearts. Fast paced storyline, tight writing and intriguing characters kept the story flowing nicely. I don’t want to give away too much as this was a short story. I will leave it up to you to explore space with Lara & Drake. The underlying question that caught my imagination was “What would you do for love?” This question kept humming in my brain as I flipped the pages of ESSENCE. This author kept this question running underneath it all as you found out what Drake and Lara did for love and the climatic ending had me speechless.
