Heath has lived his life through books always longing for the real thing but never imagining that there was a real man out there that would measure up to those in his books. When Xavier comes into Heath’s world everything his knows goes out the window. Heath does not know if he should take a chance and try living the life he has only dreamt of. Xavier is determined to give Heath what he seeks and will not take no for an answer. Can the two find a way to a happy ever after or will their story end before they get a chance?

I enjoyed Xavier and Heath’s story. The two are good together and make a nice couple. Their story is both a sweet and a hot one. Heath is a strong man who gets to explore what he thought he would never see. Xavier is a good man who learns that there is more to life than what he always thought. It was nice to see Xavier show Heath a new world and give him what he longs for. I loved seeing not only the development of their relationship but also the friendships that Heath makes with the other men at the club. Xavier and Heath must learn to communicate and figure out what they truly want before it costs them everything. This story moves along at a nice pace, it may not have as much angst as others before it, but it is still a nice addition to the series.

Two Doms who are hurting and still reeling from the loss of their sub years later. One day brings Tim into their lives and everything changes. After the men care for him during his sickness Tim longs to tell Aaron and Sam how he feels but he is afraid of offending the men and being told to leave the safe haven he has found with them. As the three grow closer they each find themselves with feelings that con no longer be denied. Can the three men find a way to be together and find love? Can the two Doms find a way to let light into their lives again? Will showing Tim the truth about their lifestyle scare him away or is he truly the submissive that they long for?

This story is a beautiful read full of emotions. Aaron and Sam are at a standstill even after so much time has passed since their sub left them. Taking care of Tim brings life back into their house but anxiety and fear are still at the forefront. Tim brings so much to the relationship and none of the men realize just how important that connection is until it could be too late. I loved watching the relationship grow between the men. The love shines through brightly as the three begin to bond. Each man has a strong personality that stands out, yet they blend effortlessly together. It was nice to see the men find their way. No one is perfect and they have their ups and downs, but they are willing to fight for their love. Not only do the main characters make an impression but the supporting characters have a lot to say as well and do a great job of helping to pull this story together. Readers are treated to a wonderful family of friends that help each other out at all times.

When Rob and Vic first meet it does not go well but Vic has a soft heart and when he sees Rob struggling in the rain, he offers him a ride. That one act of kindness turns Rob’s world upside down and he clings to the only nice thing anyone has ever done for him. It continues to bring Rob back into Vic’s life without invitation, but Vic sees something in Rob and sets his mind to helping the young man. Help may be the first and foremost thing on Vic’s mind but when Rob shows signs of wanting more Vic cannot deny the feelings that are starting to grow within his heart for the troubled young man.  As the two start a tentative friendship they work hard to heal Rob and soon find that they both want more. Can Rob truly accept who he is and let the past go or will he forever live with his guilt and pain?

Vic and Rob’s story is a wonderful tale. Rob may be mixed up and hurting but underneath it all he is a good man. Rob just needs someone to help him understand and get through his pain and anger. Vic may just be the man to help Rob if only Rob would let him in. The two have great chemistry together and when Rob lets go, he can see and feel the love that Vic has for him, the problem is getting Rob to let go. It was nice to see Rob start to grow and heal with the help of Vic. The two are good together and the love that they have for one another shines through in all that they do. As hot as they are in the bedroom Vic and Rob connect on many other levels and it was nice to see their relationship blossom into something strong and lasting.

This story is a wonderful continuation of the SECRETS series which is a spin off of the COLLARS AND CUFFS series. I love seeing the way Jarod and Eli have made this club their own. Narrator Joel Leslie does a great job of bringing this book to life. I was quickly pulled into Rob’s story and I lost myself in a world full of emotions.

Ellis and Wayne’s story is full of emotions and depth. Wayne has never hidden the fact that he was gay, what he hid was his feelings for Ellis. When Wayne decides to help Ellis, secrets are revealed and both men must make some hard choices. Their story is a wonderful beginning to this spin off series from Collars and Cuffs. Ellis and Wayne are great friends and make a good couple. I enjoyed their journey to finding something deeper for the two. Their story is intense, and emotions run high throughout the book. Love is strong, but trust is hard earned. These two men go through so much and through it all they never stop loving one another. It was nice to see Wayne and Ellis fight so hard to find their happy ever after.

I also loved seeing Eli and Jarod and catching up on some of the characters from the previous series. It was nice to see Jarod and Eli find their own feet as well. Narrator Joel Leslie breathes life into these characters and had me quickly lost in their adventure.

This box set gives readers four different couples and the struggles that they overcome. Life is never uneventful at the club called Collars & Cuffs. The owners and members have built a family and a safe haven for those that need it. Each man finds what he is looking for with the help of the others. When someone is in need the men gather together and find a way to help. These stories show just how strong the friendships and trust are between everyone.  How each couple fights their way through the pain and worries to find happiness and love.

The first story brings a new person into the mix. Jeff is another boy who was mistreated and living on the streets. He is brought to Damian’s house to recover and the adventure begins from there. Trust is hard earned, but Damian is willing to try if Jeff will take the chance.  Damian has lost love and is not looking for new partner but something about Jeff grabs his attention and will not let go. Can both men find a new way as lovers? Will Damian be able to give up being a Dom for a man who is not a sub?

The next story gives us Dorian and Alan. When Dorian goes in search of the bigger high of more pain he finds himself in over his head and in more trouble than he can handle. His friends finally find him and see what has been done to him. They take him home and Alan is there to pick up the pieces and heal Dorian, but will it be enough to put Dorian back together or is he lost to them forever?

Next come Eli and Jarod. Jarod is an older sub who has lost his Dom but not the need to serve. After failed attempts to find a Dom he begins to despair. When Eli comes into his life Jarod is not so sure about the young man, but their connection cannot be denied. Can the two men find what they are looking for in each other?

The last story brings Darren and JJ. As we watch these two men explore and find happiness in the club and their relationship we also get to see into the many lives of the other members. How their lives have progressed as have their relationships.

Each of these stories is a beautiful and emotional read. Love and trust are earned and fought for by all of these men. Secrets are revealed, and friendships are made stronger. I was quickly lost in each of these stories and loved how they all intertwined with the club and its members. The men have all become a family the love that they have for each other shows in what they do. I enjoyed getting to share the experiences that made their lives and opened their hearts.  Be ready to have your heartstrings pulled as well as your heart open while watching these men grow and learn to love.  The men of Cuffs & Collars have found their way to a wonderful life and a new beginning.
