DON’T TEMPT THE PHOENIX is the second book of Author CJ England’s Don’t series and it continues the story of Aithne in greater detail. This time she finds herself free to explore a world and find her own love since her brother Aiden found his in the first “Don’t” book, Don’t Spank the Vamp. I highly enjoyed this next installment as Ms. England delivers a wild, passionate story full of multi-faceted characters, a compelling storyline and tight writing. I highly enjoyed the next story in the “Don’t” series.

Meet Aithne, a woman who is finally free to explore the world after a century as her brother’s familiar. Working in a traveling carnival is perfect for her as she uses some of her gifts as a fortune teller but she always foresees the enigmatic owner, Milcham Phoenix stirring something more in her heart than just annoyance. Sparks fly between the two but with secrets holding them back, both Aithne and Milcham have to find a way to show their true hearts before it is too late. I love Aithne and Milcham together. Both are scared to reveal their secrets even after falling for each other, afraid to lose their twin-flame but secrets have a way of getting out, no matter the good intentions. Ms. England does a masterful job in creating characters that captivate the reader and goes down deep into the hidden nuances in their soul. Add in some memorable secondary characters, a race against time and some really passionate sex, you’ve got the makings of a enthralling story.

DON’T TEMPT THE PHOENIX is a highly enjoyable story that will leave you eager for more. I hope Ms. England doesn’t just stop with this one as some of the secondary characters introduced here had me wondering if they would find love as well. If you enjoy a highly addictive series that delivers some passionate scenes among characters that will captivate you, then grab the “Don’t” series. I do recommend reading them in order to get the background of Aithne and others mentioned in the DON’T TEMPT THE PHOENIX.

The characters are to die for, a fast paced storyline that had me laughing and then sighing in pleasure plus some of the most imaginative sex scenes I have read in a long time made DON’T SPANK THE VAMP worth reading again! Ms. England is a wonderful storyteller who makes even the tried and true vampire story seem so wild and magnificent. With her trademark style, she delivers a soul stirring story that melts your heart and steals your soul.

Well, Ms. England definitely delivers two of the most combustible main characters to date and they sure fan the flames while you are reading the first in her The Don’t Series. I loved the way these two lit up the pages, bed sheets and anything else in the way. Add in passion, romance and secrets, you get all the makings of two complicated, stubborn people who find that saying the “L” word is harder than they thought.

DON’T SPANK THE VAMP is one rollicking fun time and Ms. England shows it with her lyrical prose and charming wit. Her characters are multidimensional and you really get a sense of who these two are and how stubborn they really can be, especially in light of what is beating in their hearts. Can Aidan get the truth out to Dawn before the choice is no longer his to make? Will Dawn be able to look past the fangs, blood and all to see the real man behind and the one who has claimed her heart, body and soul? The first book in Ms. England’s Don’t Series really gives you a taste for more and frankly, I am hoping I don’t wait too long for the next installment. If you enjoy a vampire who loves taking a walk on the wild side, intriguing sex toy fun and a woman who will find a way to show even a jaded vampire what true love is all about, then race to grab DON’T SPANK THE VAMP, just be sure to have your honey next to you as you enjoy some of your own play time ala Dawn style!

A really good read that I can highly recommend and which I am sure all C J’s fans have already devoured, COWBOY UP is not only erotic, sensual and super sexy, but it’s an emotional story about two very stubborn characters that have a lot to learn. For a while I was wondering if they were really going to get the message. C J England has the reader on the edge of her seat, rooting for these two lovers. I kept thinking that if Sierra didn’t want Dalton, she could send him my way! I don’t know how much more I can rave about this great story except to say that you should now stop reading this review and go and download it right away!

Strong, vulnerable, independent to the core, she is a heroine that struck a cord in this reviewer’s heart and I definitely rooted for her to get all she ever imagined. Add in Calion, a prince of the elves and you have a strong alpha male with just the right touch of arrogance and pride as well as some oh so sexiness to make it worth while. He definitely is worth getting taken by Orcs and made this reviewer want to be locked up in his arms. Ms. England captures the pure essence of these two characters especially as the twists and turns keep coming at a fast pace that made me want to say hang on…I am going under!

EYES OF FIRE is a delightful story that will keep you guessing, leave you breathless and longing for the next chapter of the MYLARI CHRONICLES. This reviewer is anxiously awaiting the next chapter of this enthralling saga of elves, prophecies, and a love so forbidden it makes the pages flare with desire.
