Her single-mindedness and spontaneity are seen a recklessness by the Agency and her new partner, Sanjay Callnes, an elite dragon warrior. Sanjay is on a mission to retrieve stolen artifacts and has an orderly plan as to how to proceed. Although their styles clash, they are drawn together as partners in more than just the professional sense. The Onyx Moon has chosen Tashana and she will need his help to save herself, if she can. Contrary to his orders and both of their more sensible inclinations their passion is ignited, fuel by desperation. Will she be saved? Will their love survive? Will the Onyx Moon spell Armageddon for dragons?
The story is fast paced and full of well described action scenes. The characters are multi-dimensional and sympathetic. The heat between the characters is believable. The sexual encounters are explicitly described.
The unfolding of the story did not always flow in a way this reviewer's mind likes to receive information, but it does not distract overmuch from the story. There is, however to such a story and available detail, that this could easily be turned into a full length novel, allowing the information to be revealed and absorbed at a more leisurely and logical pace by the reader.
