A fairy and a dragon, who would ever think that these two would find love? Certainly not the two themselves. Blaze the dragon shifter is known as a player and not one you would ever think of settling down. Griff is a love fairy but something has gone wrong and he has lost his wings and much of his memory. When he tags along with his sister and the fairy king to one of the dragon’s kingdoms Griff finds something just as precious as his wings and memory. Can these two trust their emotions or will the evil that threatens them win in the end?

The storyline for Blaze and Griff’s tale is an interesting one. Their story took me a bit to get into but had me engaged in the end. The two are complete opposites that find themselves drawn to each other. Emotions are strong in this story and it was interesting to see the mystery unravel as the two begin to find a way to each other. Griff and Blaze go on an adventure that bring them closer together and soon they find secrets about Griff and his past that will change their lives. It was nice to see the way Griff and Blaze grow together and the way they support each other. Their story will have you believing in the power of love and what it can heal. Not only did Blaze and Griff have a lot to say but the supporting characters made themselves known as well. While the narrator does a good job of keeping the story moving, I was not a fan of the voices he uses for many of the characters.

This box set contains the first three books in the Alien Blood War series. Each book gives the reader the story of a couple and their journey towards a happy ever after. As the war between the two alien factions becomes more intense some humans begin to become aware of their existence.  These three stories start this series and begin the adventures of the humans and aliens and the love that they will fight for.

BLOOD DANCE brings the story of Alex and Quinn. These two make a wonderful couple and it was nice to see Quinn grow with the support of Alex. Alex shows that he may not be a man but he is no monster. Quinn and Alex fight hard to find a happy ever after as the war continues to rage on.

DANGEROUS DANCE gives readers Val and Mackie’s tale. The two had just begun their relationship when the unthinkable happened and Val decides that Mackie must not be put in danger again. The pain he causes Mackie and himself is enormous. Both men have painful pasts and Val more than others. Love may be strong between the two but their journey is hard and full of pain.

SLAVE DANCE is the story of Emil and Jase. The two make a beautiful couple. Jase has escaped the horror of sex trafficking and found safety in Emil but is the man a safe place or is he a monster in disguise? These two have a hard journey to their happiness.

Each of these couples fight hard to find and accept love.
The men continue to fight the war against the evil aliens and it was nice to see the camaraderie between the men and the way they fight to keep the world safe. The author has created a wonderful world with characters that endeared themselves to this reader.

This is the second box set of this engaging series. This set contains three books from this series. Each book gives readers a look into a world where vampires and aliens are real and they are fighting for dominance and Earth is the battleground. The aliens have made our planet their home for years and they have begun to find those that make them whole but can they take a chance and reveal themselves? Can they trust not only their hearts but their very lives to love? As they fight the war against the corrupt and evil the men must figure out if they are willing to fight for love.

I am a fan of this series and was quickly pulled into each story. Each story brings a new chapter to the war and a new couple. In Star Dance we meet Malcolm and Brenin. These two grew on me the more I learned about them. This book gives us a look at some of what Brenin and Dafydd go through under Dracul. Brenin and Malcolm both deal with their own demons and learn to trust their hearts. Mating Dance gives us Trey and Demi’s story. Detective Trey Duncan tries his hardest to fight his attraction to Demi but the young man is determined to get what he wants and Trey is it. Their relationship has grown throughout this series and this book brings it to the forefront. I enjoyed seeing the true strength of these two. We get to see what lies beneath the surface with Demi and the depth of the love that Trey has for him. The two make a good couple. Healing Dance is an emotion filled book; it is full of healing. Both Brenin and Dafydd play prominent roles in this book. Ric finds that he wants to be more than just a doctor to Dafydd but will Dafydd be able to heal and let Ric in? As the group fights the evil of Dracul we get to see more from Malcolm and Brenin and we get to see Ric and Dafydd begin to find their way. These stories bring us more of the war between the aliens. Fighting and finding Dracul is now not the only thing these men live for. The author has created an interesting world and keeps each story fresh making you eager to see what will happen next.
