SAVAGE MOON RISING is the next installment of a really good M/M paranormal series by author Leiland Dale. It picks up after the first book has ended, A PROPHECY OF DESTINY, and delivers the reader into a world of ancient ones, prophecies and a love that will not be denied. The characters are nicely fleshed out, the writing was tight and there was a lot of simmering sexual tension between Wade and Blake that had me squirming a bit. There was also an introduction to the vampires that I found intriguing. I am definitely looking forward to reading more about them in future books. This is an author who knows the world that he has created and the people who populate it. Leiland Dale is fast becoming one of my favorite M/M authors and his latest story is one I know you will enjoy from beginning to end. I do have to recommend that you read the first book, A PROPHECY PF DESTINY, first to see what the events that transpired there lead up to this second book.

Meet Pack Beta, Blake Savage, a man who is thrust into leading his pack when the pack alpha dies. Attracted to a visiting alpha wolf, Wade Collins, Blake doesn’t know what to do when Wade rejects him. When the ancients come to him in a dream, he finds out he is next to fulfill part of the ancient prophecy. Blake is determined to save his pack from the unknown illness, he just doesn’t know if his chosen mate will choose to be with Blake or leave. Can two alphas find a way to co-exist and fall in love? I loved the way Blake and Wade interacted together. Wade was afraid to let himself fall for Blake. Two alphas falling for one another? So not going to happen…well that was the premise anyways to Wade’s thinking. The sexual tension between the two men goes into boiling and it is HOT! I warn you keep your bucket of ice or significant other nearby because you will be squirming in your seat. The secondary characters are very well written and kept the story flowing smoothly. I enjoyed seeing some new faces introduced here and hope they show up in future stories.

SAVAGE MOON RISING is a wonderful tale of prophecies, love and passion plus a mystery that deepens as you read till the very end. The climatic cliffhanger of an ending left me hoping the author won’t keep me in suspense for the next book. If you haven’t picked up this series yet, I highly suggest you race to grab it. It’s a perfect way to be introduced to this author’s writing and delivers hours of reading entertainment.

En primer lugar, se trata de un romance de paranormal. Este hecho no se desprende de la propaganda cubierta. Es una muy leve paranormal, sin embargo, y no te metas en cosa profundas turbias oscuro. También es un conjunto moderno occidental de Montana. Todo es de hombre a hombre con algunas escenas en caliente- no hay sexo extremo, aunque hay algunos socios múltiples desde el primo. Yo no creo que haya nada pueda ofender a un firme incluso heterosexuales. Es bien escrito y hecho muy magistralmente.

El libro que agarra con ambas monos y no te guelte. En la segunda página, me sentí atraído ya a preocuparse por los personajes principales. No hay ninguna principal antagonista. En lugar, de Seth y la lucha Jasper con sus propias cicatrices internas para aprender a confiar unos en otros. Mientras Jasper es lindo, me encontré Seth ser muy convincente. Solo puedo imaginar los horrores que el autor hace alusión en sé pasado. Hizo esta historia, em mi opinión. UN CORAZON AMANTE es un torque fresco a un género establecido y realmente me gusta como el autor lo hizo.

Doy UN CORAZON AMANTE cinco corazones. Este es un cuento muy romántico de dos almas maltraídas encontrar el amor y la curación de uno al otro. Simplemente me dejo sin aliento. No podía poner este libro a un lado hasta que lo haya terminado. Definitivamente voy a estar leyendo esta historia una y otra vez.

Jasper has come to the Heart Ranch to find his brother, Greg, after seven years apart. He is hoping to rekindle the close relationship he had with Greg before their father tore them apart with lies. He wasn’t expecting to find the ranch owner so intriguing, though.

When Seth meets his foreman and best friend’s little brother, he finds himself fighting the urge to throw caution to the wind. He spent a lot of time building this refuge for others because there is no refuge for one such as him. Dare he risk it all for the chance of love?

First off, this is a paranormal romance. That fact isn’t apparent from the cover blurb. It’s pretty mild, though, and doesn’t get into any deep, dark murky stuff. It’s also a modern western set in Montana. It is male on male with some spicy scenes- no extreme sex, though there is some multiple partners at the beginning. I don’t think there’s anything that might offend a staunch heterosexual, though. It’s well written and tastefully done.

This book grabbed me with both hands and didn’t let go. By the second page, I was already drawn into caring about the main characters. There is no primary antagonist. Rather, Seth and Jasper struggle with their own internal scarring in learning to trust each other. While Jasper is sweet, I found Seth very compelling. I can only imagine the horrors the author hunted at in his past. He made this story, in my opinion. UN CORAZON AMANTE is a fresh spin on an established genre and I really liked how the author did it.

I’m giving UN CORAZON AMANTE five hearts. This is a very romantic tale of two battered souls finding love and healing each other. It simply took my breath away. I could not put this book down until I’d finished it. I will definitely be reading this story again and again.

This is a “new to me” author and I have to admit, all the wonderful things I have heard about him is true. This is an author who creates multi-dimensional characters, a fast paced storyline and a mysterious prophecy to figure out. I loved the way this author did a fresh twist on the whole “Vampires vs. Werewolves” angle and it kept me flipping the pages until the very end. The only thing I had against it was Mr. Dale has left me hanging for the next book.

Meet Will Stanton, an ordinary man who has an ordinary life and though content, he finds himself longing for that one special someone. When he finds out the secret his grandmother has been keeping about him and the destiny he must now embrace, Will finds there is more to this world than what he sees. Now he has to battle vampires to stay alive and in the process try to figure this whole prophecy thing out as well. Add in sexy werewolf, Eric, to keep him off balanced as well…. Will doesn’t know if he is coming or going. These two were wonderful together. Here you have two lonely, solitary people longing for their soul mate yet what they get is something so much more. The simmering sexual tension, the mystery of a prophecy and some really intriguing secondary characters had me trying to guess what would happen next before I turned the page.

A PROPHECY OF DESTINY is a wonderful kick-off to a fabulous new series that will keep you highly entertained from start to finish. If you enjoy vampires, werewolves, prophecies and more, then you need to grab the latest by this author. I am really hoping I don’t have to wait long for the next book in the series. I look forward to more books in the future from this new author and highly recommend A PROPHECY OF DESTINY for an afternoon of reading pleasure.
