The first story to kick this anthology off is called Met Her Match by Sierra Cartwright, a Hawkeye story. Mira Araceli is a highly trained Hawkeye agent. For years she has lusted after her instructor, Torin Carter. He has always seen her as a recruit, a student, anything but a woman. When she is partnered with Torin, the heat flares between them and when Mira delivers a challenge to him, will Torin see her not just as a fellow agent but a woman who will claim his heart?

Met Her Match is an interesting kick off story about two people who work together and find they have many interests in common, namely BDSM and the club Dark Haven. When Mira forces Torin to see her not just as a colleague but as a submissive woman, all his Dom instincts roar to life. Taking the challenge, he takes what Mira offers and finds something much more-love. What I found intriguing was the dynamics between these two characters. Mira is a strong, independent woman, able to handle any situation. Torin is an ‘as tough as nails’ agent who doesn’t want any partners, especially one as lush as Mira. These two fit so well together that it kept me intrigued to see how the story would end. The only drawback I saw was that I never read this author’s Hawkeye stories before so I felt a little lost when some of the characters from the series popped in. Otherwise the story flowed smoothly, writing was tight and it seamlessly blended into the next story with no hiccups.

Next was Educating Evangeline by Belinda McBride. A story about a lone wolf on the run from mysterious hunters and a werewolf Dom who finds the one woman meant to be his. Evangeline Jones is trying to lose her pursuers when she stumbles into Dark Haven. Instead of the dance club she assumes the place to be, she finds a decadent world that will challenge everything she believes in. Harte Sommers is charmed by the beauty that ran into him and finds that the mate he yearns for is Eva, a wild wolf who stirs his passions to a fever pitch. I loved this story. Full of passion, adventure and mystery, Ms. McBride delivers a story that will knock your socks off. The characters were interesting, the sex was smoking hot and the mystery of who wanted Eva was consuming me while reading this. I am hoping Ms. McBride delves back into her world she created here in the future. I would love to see some of the secondary characters again.

Finally, the one story I have been waiting for, Simon Says: Mine by Cherise Sinclair. If you have read MASTER OF THE MOUNTAIN, you have met Master Simon. I have waited for his story since then and Ms. Sinclair does not disappoint. Simon Says: Mine is one hot, erotic story full of emotion and sinfully hot sex. Rona just got through a divorce and an empty nest and decides to make a list of all her fantasies to explore. Up on the list, touring the famed BDSM club Dark Haven, where she meets Master Simon, a man who stirs her senses and introduces her to a world of sensual delights in one passion filled night. Determined to not be in a relationship, Rona takes off after that night, vowing to never feel Master Simon’s loving caresses again. Master Simon has had it with the eager, shallow submissives he trains and uses at Dark Haven. One of the popular Masters there, he never expects to be drawn to Rona, a woman that stirs something much deeper inside him. Rona might not be his first sub he takes on this journey of exploration but he thinks she might be his last. Simon Says: Mine is the perfect ending to the Dark Haven anthology. Full of intriguing characters you can’t help but fall in love with, hot sensual sex amid the BDSM world and the reader is drawn into not just a BDSM story but an emotional one as well. Simon and Rona work well together and I was rooting for them to fall for one another from the beginning, when the sparks flew between them. Ms. Sinclair is a wonderful writer that will surely captivate you even as she teases your senses with her latest BDSM story.

THE DOMS OF DARK HAVEN is truly not for the faint of heart. It has bondage, BDSM scenes & other aspects that may not appeal to everyone. If you enjoy a wonderful BDSM story then grab this anthology. It has everything you need to enjoy in a story-captivating characters, smoldering passion and romance all wrapped up with a bow or in this case a rope or chains. If you enjoy these three authors past books, then grab this latest installment that will leave you panting for more. THE DOMS OF DARK HAVEN is truly an anthology that will get your motor running in more ways than one. I am hoping to see if there will be anymore Dark Haven stories in the future.

I have to admit, I am a bit biased as I love this series with a passion. With strong, unforgettable characters that fairly step off the pages to emotional rich stories that have you flipping the pages for more, each story is a well played violin that resonates with the reader. This is one author who weaves a spell around her readers from beginning to end. Ms. Sinclair’s stories are rare gems that continue to haunt the reader even as the last page is read.

In LEAN ON ME, you have a very strong heroine determined to be independent even as she craves the dominant touch of a Master. Andrea is a woman the reader can resonate with and I felt for her as she tried to let go of the walls around her to allow Master Cullen inside, to show her how to finally accept the submissive part of herself completely. Cullen is one of my favorite characters out of all the Masters at Shadowlands. Strong, determined and he makes me shiver in anticipation when he steps upon the pages of any Shadowlands book. He has a hard and fast rule-Never be involved with a trainee….well until Andrea came into the picture and he ends up falling for the fiercely independent yet vulnerable woman. Can these two find a way to bridge their differences before one ends up walking away? These two are the perfect pair together. Andrea isn’t a woman Cullen can walk all over or one to have to look up to a Master. She was the perfect foil to Cullen’s alpha maleness as she can look him in the eye yet cuddle in his arms afterwards. Add in some familiar and beloved characters from the past three books (Club Shadowlands, Dark Citadel & Breaking Free) plus a few new ones as well, Ms. Sinclair does a wonderful job keeping the story moving fast and smoothly.

In each of Ms. Sinclair’s stories, the reader is taken on a sensual journey that hits not just the imagination but also the heart. This is an author who delivers emotions amid the pages as well as some scorching hot sex as well. I do have to mention there are scenes that may not appeal to everyone in LEAN ON ME that include, D/s, bondage, anal play and more. If you enjoy a highly emotional yet seductive story, then I highly recommend the entire Masters of the Shadowlands Series. I just hope Ms. Sinclair has more stories set in this wonderful club coming in the future. Run-don’t walk- to grab this entire series to enjoy. You won’t be disappointed. Just a word of warning-make sure to keep a bucket of ice nearby or your significant other to cool you off, it does get really steamy amid the pages of LEAN ON ME.

It was supposed to be a perfect two weeks for MacKensie. She does a house exchange with Alex in Seattle and she can get a head start on getting a job far from her former town, a place where her past bit her on the ass and chased her away. What she doesn’t expect is one locked door to open a world that will heal her heart and show her that love is more than spankings. It’s about trust as well. THE DOM’S DUNGEON is one hot, well written story and I warn you, get the hanky ready because you are going to cry as well as sigh over MacKensie and Alex’s relationship. Ms. Sinclair is a gifted storyteller who knows how to create an emotional yet highly charged story for the reader to devour. I love the dynamics of an emotionally stunted MacKensie and the strong Dom, Alex. The scenes between them had me squirming one minute and the next sighing as trust begins to build between them. This is an author who really gets into her character’s heads and shows the reader their souls. Within minutes of opening THE DOM’S DUNGEON, I was swept away and when I finally closed the last page, it was with a satisfied smile on my face. Meet MacKensie, a vet who wants a change. She decides to do a house swap with a man named Alex in Seattle and scope out the jobs there while she vacations for two weeks. What she finds is a locked door that opens her eyes to the world of D/s & BDSM. Alex was looking forward to trading houses with MacKensie but a fight at the airport has him missing his plane and he heads home to find that MacKensie is snooping in his dungeon. What happens next will change both their lives and they will find a love that will heal a broken heart. All I have to say is-Where can I find an Alex of my own? This guy is hot-hot-hot and he finds himself drawn to MacKensie in a way that startles him. As these two become more involved in the world of BDSM, MacKensie slowly learns to trust Alex and in the process, herself as well. Some wonderful secondary characters pop up and keep the story flowing nicely. I would love to see more stories around Seattle and Alex’s friends. THE DOM’S DUNGEON is a well written story that will start off slowly and then simmer until it overloads your senses. I highly recommend either keeping a bucket of ice or your significant other nearby as you will get a tad hot and bothered. Ms. Sinclair is fast becoming my favorite author to read lately. I do have to mention, this story may have some things mentioned that you may find objectionable. THE DOM’S DUNGEON is one emotional and highly sensual ride from start to finish. If you enjoy a hot, erotic story set in the BDSM culture, then run to grab Cherise Sinclair’s THE DOM’S DUNGEON. I look forward to more wonderful stories from this author in the future. One weekend and both Logan and Rebecca find that their hearts are more in tune with what they desire than they think.

MASTER OF THE MOUNTAIN is an interesting tale that had me sighing one minute and then squirming the next. You have a full-figured heroine and a scarred man, both with hang ups yet neither can deny the attraction between them that grows stronger with each encounter they have, sexual and non-sexual. I love these two characters together. Here you have two characters with flaws and hang ups that cause them to react in two different ways. Logan pushes Rebecca away, determined to save her from his nightmares and Rebecca feels rejected because she isn’t stick thin and full of scars. With two main characters that have the reader flipping the pages to see what happens next, Ms. Sinclair delivers a highly emotional and sensual story to keep the reader entertained.

Ms. Sinclair is fast becoming my favorite author in the BDSM genre. With a cast of characters that keep the story told, a dog that heals a woman’s fear and sensual seduction that has you panting in desire and dragging the significant other to the ground, Ms. Sinclair weaves a story that will leave you breathless and clamoring for more. I am hoping there will be more for Logan, Rebecca and the others who inhabit MASTER OF THE MOUNTAIN. If you enjoy a highly emotional and sexual story with great cast of characters, tight writing and fast paced storylines, then grab MASTER OF THE MOUNTAIN.

MASTERS OF THE SHADOWLANDS is a very erotic BDSM club that intrigued me when I read the blurb. I didn’t know it was a series until afterwards and found more Masters to explore. Ms. Sinclair definitely delivers a spine tingling story to keep you heated up and highly entertained. I really enjoyed the way submissive Kari got Master Dan, a famed club dominant to let down his guard and to show him what a lonely life he leads without love. The secondary characters kept the story flowing and I am really hoping to see more stories on the Masters of Shadowlands in the future. Strong plot, intriguing characters and a fast paced storyline keep the reader entertained from start to finish. I really enjoyed Ms. Sinclair’s new series and look forward to exploring more of the Masters of the Shadowlands in the future.

Kari is a shy, repressed woman who finds herself at a BDSM club for three days of beginner nights there, learning the ropes of this culture. When she finds herself left without a partner, the club offers her to continue with an experienced dominant and enter in Master Dan, a man who makes her tingle and offers her a safe haven while making her sensual side come out in his hands. I absolutely loved these two together. Master Dan is pure alpha male and very dominant. Having a hard and fast rule of only taking a beginner for one night, he finds himself drawn to the pretty schoolteacher and finally sees what a dark life he has led without love. Kari is a woman who finds herself opening up in ways she never imagined when she came to Club Shadowlands and soon finds she wants much more from her dominant Master. Strong yet vulnerable, both characters delve into the readers’ heart and I was rooting for both to find a way to be together by the time the climatic ending came.

With some highly erotic scenes that may not appeal to everyone, MASTERS OF THE SHADOWLANDS: DARK CITDEL is a story that will leave you gasping for more as you read the last page. If you enjoy a BDSM story that will keep you squirming and longing to be mastered yourself, then grab MASTERS OF THE SHADOWLANDS: DARK CITADEL and make sure to keep the significant other nearby so you can ease the ache this author invokes. I highly enjoyed DARK CITADEL and look forward to reading the others in the series. This is definitely one I will delve into again in the future.

MASTERS OF SHADOWLANDS is an interesting series and one I thoroughly enjoyed. CLUB SHADOWLANDS is the first book and introduces the main characters to the readers. I highly recommend reading the series in order as some of the characters in subsequent books make appearances in the others in the series. I also want to make sure that if you don’t enjoy a BDSM or explicit sexual content, this is not the book/series for you.

Meet Jessica Randall, a straight laced accountant who is having a string of bad luck one night. When she finds herself at a the doors of Club Shadowlands, she finds herself faced with a lifestyle she has no idea how to react to. When she meets Master Z, owner of the club, Jessica finds a man worth going the distance for even if it means being his sub for the night. I love Master Z and his forcefulness helps Jessica break through to her inner passions and she finds a world that keeps her entertained and aroused, especially as Master Z keeps delivering his loving brand of punishment. These two are a delight together and I loved how Ms. Sinclair kept Jessica strong but able to bend for her Master who loved her feisty nature in return. Both characters interacted well with some really yummy secondary characters and I just had to check to see if they had a story coming up next.

CLUB SHADOWLANDS is a wonderful addition to any lover of BDSM romance stories and you won’t be disappointed in this one. With fast paced storyline, explicit sexual content that shows the reader the lifestyle of a BDSM club and relationship, Ms. Sinclair delivers a kick off to a series that will keep you entertained and turned on. Grab CLUB SHADOWLANDS and be introduced to the Doms/subs that inhabit this little patch of the world. I look forward to seeing what comes next for Masters Z, C and all the others in this series. I just hope it won’t be too long for my Shadowlands fix.

MASTERS OF THE SHADOWLANDS 3: BREAKING FREE is an emotional story as it is a very sexual one. It has a heroine who is scarred from a man she had trusted and it takes a strong man to show her how sweet pleasure can be again. I highly enjoyed Nolan’s story and Ms. Sinclair definitely delivers a highly emotional one at that. Here you meet some of the previous characters again and their submissives’ in and out of the Shadowlands, an exclusive BDSM club. With some very erotic scenes, Ms. Sinclair shows the reader how trust is built in a Dom/sub relationship as Nolan builds Beth’s trust back up and shows her the pleasure an experienced Dom can give her again. The writing was tight and a fast paced storyline kept me glued to the pages. I highly enjoyed the sub-plot of Beth’s husband coming after her. It keeps the reader flipping the pages wondering what happens next.

BREAKING FREE is the third book in the Masters of the Shadowlands series and I recommend reading them in order so you can get an idea about who the Masters are and the other secondary characters mentioned throughout BREAKING FREE. I do want to mention this is highly graphic and it may not appeal to everyone. If you enjoy a highly erotic and emotional story then grab BREAKING FREE and settle in for an enjoyable time at Club Shadowlands. I am looking forward to seeing another Master find love with a submissive in the future; I just hope Ms. Sinclair doesn’t make me wait too long for it.
