MASTERS OF THE SHADOWLANDS is a very erotic BDSM club that intrigued me when I read the blurb. I didn’t know it was a series until afterwards and found more Masters to explore. Ms. Sinclair definitely delivers a spine tingling story to keep you heated up and highly entertained. I really enjoyed the way submissive Kari got Master Dan, a famed club dominant to let down his guard and to show him what a lonely life he leads without love. The secondary characters kept the story flowing and I am really hoping to see more stories on the Masters of Shadowlands in the future. Strong plot, intriguing characters and a fast paced storyline keep the reader entertained from start to finish. I really enjoyed Ms. Sinclair’s new series and look forward to exploring more of the Masters of the Shadowlands in the future.
Kari is a shy, repressed woman who finds herself at a BDSM club for three days of beginner nights there, learning the ropes of this culture. When she finds herself left without a partner, the club offers her to continue with an experienced dominant and enter in Master Dan, a man who makes her tingle and offers her a safe haven while making her sensual side come out in his hands. I absolutely loved these two together. Master Dan is pure alpha male and very dominant. Having a hard and fast rule of only taking a beginner for one night, he finds himself drawn to the pretty schoolteacher and finally sees what a dark life he has led without love. Kari is a woman who finds herself opening up in ways she never imagined when she came to Club Shadowlands and soon finds she wants much more from her dominant Master. Strong yet vulnerable, both characters delve into the readers’ heart and I was rooting for both to find a way to be together by the time the climatic ending came.
With some highly erotic scenes that may not appeal to everyone, MASTERS OF THE SHADOWLANDS: DARK CITDEL is a story that will leave you gasping for more as you read the last page. If you enjoy a BDSM story that will keep you squirming and longing to be mastered yourself, then grab MASTERS OF THE SHADOWLANDS: DARK CITADEL and make sure to keep the significant other nearby so you can ease the ache this author invokes. I highly enjoyed DARK CITADEL and look forward to reading the others in the series. This is definitely one I will delve into again in the future.
