MASTERS OF SHADOWLANDS is an interesting series and one I thoroughly enjoyed. CLUB SHADOWLANDS is the first book and introduces the main characters to the readers. I highly recommend reading the series in order as some of the characters in subsequent books make appearances in the others in the series. I also want to make sure that if you don’t enjoy a BDSM or explicit sexual content, this is not the book/series for you.
Meet Jessica Randall, a straight laced accountant who is having a string of bad luck one night. When she finds herself at a the doors of Club Shadowlands, she finds herself faced with a lifestyle she has no idea how to react to. When she meets Master Z, owner of the club, Jessica finds a man worth going the distance for even if it means being his sub for the night. I love Master Z and his forcefulness helps Jessica break through to her inner passions and she finds a world that keeps her entertained and aroused, especially as Master Z keeps delivering his loving brand of punishment. These two are a delight together and I loved how Ms. Sinclair kept Jessica strong but able to bend for her Master who loved her feisty nature in return. Both characters interacted well with some really yummy secondary characters and I just had to check to see if they had a story coming up next.
CLUB SHADOWLANDS is a wonderful addition to any lover of BDSM romance stories and you won’t be disappointed in this one. With fast paced storyline, explicit sexual content that shows the reader the lifestyle of a BDSM club and relationship, Ms. Sinclair delivers a kick off to a series that will keep you entertained and turned on. Grab CLUB SHADOWLANDS and be introduced to the Doms/subs that inhabit this little patch of the world. I look forward to seeing what comes next for Masters Z, C and all the others in this series. I just hope it won’t be too long for my Shadowlands fix.
