Will has been living a life of hell for the last few years and a chance meeting brings him help if he can only take a chance and ask for it. When that chance comes Will grabs it. That help takes him to Colin. Colin takes Will on as an apprentice. As the two spend time together emotions begin to emerge alongside a strong attraction. If only Will can heal from his past abuse to let Colin in. When Will’s past comes calling the two must find a way to fight and survive. Will the enemy bring them closer or will it tear them apart?

This is an engaging read. Will is stronger than he thinks and it was nice to see him grow with the help of Colin. The men are good together and the author does a nice job of portraying the way Will deals with his past abuse and trying to find a way to what he wants. Colin is a good man and is willing to help Will in any way that he can. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow and blossom into something deep and strong. I found that their story moves along at a good pace but I would have liked a bit more depth to it. I felt that the story seemed a bit rushed at times. Not only do we get the relationship between Will and Colin but the supporting characters made themselves known making this reader interested to see just what will come next for them.

Rory and his knights have come to finish what they started. Returning to Earth for what they hope will be the final blow to the evil that threatens them all. With new fighters on their side, they are determined to stop the monsters and evil from taking over. They must make their stand now that the two sides of evil have come together to try and use Rory and destroy Earth. Who will be the ones to survive and will there be anything left for those survivors? The time has come to see if Rory and the magic he holds is enough to defeat the evil.

I have enjoyed this series and this last book is a nice way to end the story. Hopefully it is not the last we get to see of these characters as there are many things I would love to see expanded on. Once again Rory shows more growth and strength that he has gained with the support of those around him. There is a good amount od depth tot eh characters and the plot moves at a quick pace, sometimes too quickly for me. I would have loved to see a bit more to the story. Emotions are strong and we see many bonds develop along the way. Not only did we get to see the main characters find happiness but we also got to enjoy many of the supporting characters and interactions. The love and friendships shine throughout this series and never more than in this last book. I enjoyed getting to come along for the ride on Rory’s adventure and hope I get to see him again.

Rory and his men are still on a journey of a lifetime. Rory and his mate Inkiri continue to bond and enjoy each other as Rory heals and learns about his magic. As Rory is slowly coming to terms with the power that he has and how it comes to him they must fight the evil that continues to try and take Rory. Soon Rory needs all his man and more to help fight the evils that come for them from all sides. Rory must begin to grow up and face the facts of what life has given him and learn how to wield the force that he has. New friends are made along the way and enemies are uniting. Rory and his knights must hurry to save everyone and everything that they hold dear to them.

I enjoyed this newest adventure that Rory and his men go on. This is only a step in their journey but it is a big one. It was nice to see the way Rory is beginning to grow and understand what is needed of him. The bond between him and his mate Inkiri deepens as does his friendship bonds to the other men. The trust and love that they all have shows in everything that they do. You can even see it in the barbs between Rory and Vergis. Not only did I enjoy the main characters but I loved meeting the secondary ones as well. Rory learns a lot in this book and we see him beginning to grow with the help of those around him. It is also interesting to learn about the magic itself and how it thinks as it communicates with Rory. The author has woven and interesting world that brings different kinds of magic together. This book pulled me in right from the start. Each new book is a fresh adventure for Rory and the author keeps it fresh and interesting with each book and not drawn out and each book has me more invested in Rory and his men. As the author indicates this book does end on a doozy of a cliffhanger and I am eager to return to this world to see Rory and his knights fight again.
