Royce and Clint Shelton are two cowboys that Taryn is determined to keep. This time she is ready for them. Taryn has grown up in the last eight years and she has never given up on her wish to have these two bad boys to herself. Yet it seems that Taryn may have bitten off more than she can handle with Clint and Royce. Every time she is near the men she loses herself and cannot even complete a coherent thought. Little does she know that her effect on the men is just as strong. Will love finally win? Will Taryn finally get her cowboys?

This is one hot book. It doesn’t even start with sparks; the flames ignite right from the beginning between Taryn and the men. For the past eight years they have been lusting after each other and when they do get together they burn up the pages. I really liked Taryn, she is a strong woman. Not only can she handle herself but she also is not afraid to go after what she wants and what she wants are Clint and Royce. I enjoyed seeing Clint and Royce and their reactions to Taryn. They may be the bad boys of the town but with Taryn we get to see their softer sides. I enjoyed watching their relationship begin to take shape. Taryn knows she wants to keep the men but seeing Clint and Royce figure out that they are feeling more than lust was a nice read.

I would have liked this story to have a little more character development in it. I enjoyed meeting Taryn and her men but didn’t feel as if we connected fully. This seemed to be a short and quick romp in their story. I would love to come back and visit with them again and see what adventures they have.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.

The third book in Tonya Ramagos’ Heroes of Silver Springs series, STORMY NIGHTS, is a sexy and heated story of love found among the ashes.

Ex-Navy SEAL turned firefighter Ryan Magee has no time for Tina Walker, often missing mother to little Timmy, who spends way too much time at the firehouse where Ryan works. When he finds all his preconceptions about Tina are proven untrue, the ice in his veins turns to molten lava where the single mother is concerned and suddenly Ryan is thinking about picket fences and forever. But when Ryan’s past follows him to Silver Springs and Timmy is kidnapped, their happily ever after may be in jeopardy.

Tonya Ramago’s STORMY NIGHTS is a heated and often steamy love story set among the backdrop of firefighting in a small town. Ryan is an easy character to fall for. He is strong, handsome, sexy and has both an enticing past as a Navy SEAL and exciting career now as a firefighter. He is both a playboy and vulnerable at the same time. Tina is a single mother, struggling to make ends meet by working three jobs while raising her son to be strong and independent. When these two characters come together, the result is explosive.

In the midst of this story there are two other love stories forming in Silver Springs and the storyline goes back and forth between the three stories simultaneously. These other stories within a story both add to the complexity of the story while they somewhat confuse the storyline because although all the characters have some sort of ties to each other, the storylines are separate and distinct and this reader had to keep remembering who was who. Though the story moves along at a nice clip, going from one story to the next and back again did slow down the story just a bit.

Still, this is a series and these two other romances, both at different stages in their stories, do set up what is likely to be the next two books in the Heroes of Silver Springs series.

All in all, Tonya Ramago’s STORMY NIGHTS is a sexy little bit of contemporary erotic romance that readers looking for a pleasant read with a little heat to it will enjoy.
