It’s February in Moonshadow Bay, hearts and roses are in the air as Valentine’s comes closer, Killian and January are planning a short getaway for the holiday but before they can leave, a mysterious cupid is running around shooting people with a love potion enchanted arrow and Conjure Ink is tasked to figure out why a restaurant is being plagued with ghostly encounters that are turning dangerous. With everything happening in Moonshadow Bay, will January and Killian be able to get to their vacation in time or worse, will danger heat up to the point someone is in danger for real?

WEAVER’S WEB delivers a lovely addition to the Moonshadow Bay series and though part of the story involves a novella that was part of a now defunct anthology, the author does a great job expanding the novella story and fleshing out the storyline of that to include trouble in Moonshadow Bay. I have to admit this series and genre (Paranormal Women’s fiction) is a treat to read and one I just can’t get enough of. The author does a bang-up job capturing the characters perfectly, lets them take the lead as they move through the twists and turns of the story and in the process keep the reader glued to the pages till the very end. Even though I read a novella version of the WEAVER’S WEB, the additional fleshed out story captured my attention right from the beginning. It’s a fast paced, wild ride from start to finish and one I look forward rereading again in the future. I don’t want to give away any spoilers to the book and what happens in it.

If you read the Aged to Perfection novella of WEAVER’S WEB, then you get half the story here, but I highly recommend reading this expanded story as it includes two cases in Moonshadow Bay that had me guessing what was going on. It was fun, entertaining and at times had me on the edge of my seat as January and the Conjure Ink gang try to figure out how to stop these two cases from continuing. I really enjoy seeing how the characters continue to grow and expand as the series progresses. If you haven’t tried Ms. Galenorn’s Moonshadow Bay series, I highly recommend that you start right from the beginning. Its fun, enjoyable and full of unique and at times quirky characters that will steal your heart.  I can’t wait to see where she continues to go as January and the rest of the characters in Moonshadow Bay go in future books.

It’s Thanksgiving in Moonshadow Bay and January is hosting her first holiday dinner for friends and family. The Witch’s Guild has her working on a research project which has her with an unexpected houseguest in Tarvish the Funtime Demon who somehow downloaded into her house while doing the solstice research. On top of that, January’s grandmother, Rowan, asks her and Ari to go undercover to figure out a pyramid scheme that moved into the town and is doing more than taking money from its recruits. The danger heats up as January and Ari go undercover to figure things out there, but they have to keep their eyes wide open for if the leader of this scheme discovers their plan, danger will be more than they can handle. The holidays in Moonshadow Bay are heating up and it looks like its going to be an adventure in Moonshadow Bay.

Woot, SHADOW WEB delivers the holidays to Moondshadow Bay in a way that had me glued to the kindle as I flipped the pages. This time Yasmine Galenorn delivers two mysteries to solve though one is lighter than the other and easier to solve than the other. I enjoy this series so much. January is character I can relate to and its fun to see her interactions with everyone in her inner circle plus a few new characters pop in that had me wondering how they will go from here in the series. Plus, we got to know more about the town of Moonshadow Bay as well as Rowan., January’s grandmother as well. The writing is top notch as usual, and I was lost within this spectacular world Ms. Galenorn created. I got to admit, if Moonshadow Bay was real I would love to visit as it sounds awesome and friendly.

This time, January is hosting her first Thanksgiving dinner and man, I don’t envy her in the least. It’s a daunting task but January is up for it even as she finds herself tasked with other things by the Witch’s Guild and her grandmother. I loved how the author convey’ s January’s issues in a positive way with everything. From dealing with her ex-husband to the daunting task of hosting a holiday meal for friends and family. January is someone I could see being friends with as well as Ari and the rest of the gang. They are so lifelike and complex; you can’t help but enjoy them all. I do caution that even if you read this book first, its best to go from the beginning as you can see how January grows with each book in her powers, her life and more. It’s a lovely pleasure to read her journey into standing on her own two feet and I liked seeing her soar with each book as she gained confidence in herself. SHADOW WEB delivers the perfect Thanksgiving story to start your holiday reading off right and I am eager to see what happens next in Moonshadow Bay as well with January and the gang.

Summer was a quiet one for January and as summer wanes, she finds herself up in more mystery than she can shake a stick at as house renovations release a ghost in her house that has her wondering just what the heck is going on. Plus add in a dead man, a new case for Conjuring Ink with the Whatcom Devil on the move in the area and now January is trying to figure things out as well as stay alive as well. Can January put her house ghost to rest, solve the mystery of the dead body and try to stay away from the Whatcom Devil?

HARVEST WEB starts off slow and the author does a great job in capturing the mood of the beginning of the book- slow, easy and drama free. Well by end of chapter one, it all comes crashing down around January’s head when a mysterious ghost and dead body pop up in her house after renovations are done. I love how Ms. Galenorn continues to deliver a fun, action packed story that is filled with heart and a bit of romantic suspense as well. Her characters in this series feel so normal and life-like to me. It makes me want to pop in and have coffee with January, Ari and the gang one day.

The one thing I can honestly say about HARVEST WEB is how much fun it is. The story has a few twists and turns I don’t see coming and I love knowing more about January’s family, her heritage, and her powers. With every page I flipped, I got lost within HARVEST WEB until I looked up and saw hours passed and I finished the book. Now the waiting begins as the next book, Shadow Web, is out and we see what else is in store for January and the gang.

If you enjoy a fun, action packed paranormal story with characters that grow with each book and keep the reader glued to the seat, then I highly recommend this series for you to enjoy. Each book captivates the reader and I, for one, am eager to see where Ms. Galenorn’s goes with this series.

The battle that has threatened the world has finally come as the Dragonni make themselves known and hatch a plan to bring the Father of Dragons, Typhon, back into the human world. The Wild Hunt and its allies have raced against the clock to try to stop Typhon and as the final battle looms, they find themselves at a crossroads. If the Mother of Dragons, Echidna, doesn’t stop Typhon and put him back into stasis, the world as they know it will falter and chaos will emerge in the dust. Ember, Herne, and the Wild Hunt are on the sidelines as the battle between the titans begins alongside their allies of gods and others against Typhon and his ilk who want to destroy everything here on Earth. But as a shockwave from these two titans’ hit, Ember, Angel and Raven find themselves sent into the realm of the Silver Wheel, Caer Arianrhod. Now the clock ticks as these three try to stay away from the Star Hounds of Arianrhod and keep themselves alive as each of the women have something to live for in their future.

Wow, the final full-length novel in the Wild Hunt Series, Veil of Stars, delivers one wild ride from start to finish. With each book, the readers have been on a journey with Ember, Angel, and the Wild Hunt gang as they dealt with keeping the fae kingdoms of Earth from starting a war, dealing with issues such as love hate and more but now the father of Dragons is here ad his allies have the Wild Hunt and their allies in the crosshairs. I found this final novel full of twists and turns, secrets and set up of a world so vast that it has me eager to know more. With the broad stroke of a keystroke, this author delivers a rousing story arc finish that hit all my love buttons multiple times. From seeing the main characters, we have grown to enjoy and love so much grow and find their own happiness in the aftermath of the final battle as well as some things yet left unsaid and hinted at speaks to future novellas to delve into. I loved every inch of this book and series as a whole so much. Though I am sad to see it end for now, Ms. Galenorn delivers a story that ties up loose ends of a multi-storyline begun many books ago and introduces some new characters to be intrigued about.

VEIL OF STARS is the final battle between Typhon and his allies against the Wild Hunt, its allies and Echidna. The question that has been lingering in the last few books was, ‘Can the Wild Hunt send Typhon back to sleep or will they lose everything they have worked so hard for?’. I got to admit I was wondering how this would all turn out as the hints from the last few books had me eager to see just how this author would tie those questions as well as others up in VEIL OF STARS. I will admit that some things were shocking to read but others had me humming in pleasure as the story weaved a spell around me. The characters have grown so much all through the books and I will miss them all. For me though, the highlight was seeing more of this world Ms. Galenorn built from her first book, The Silver Stag. It’s vast, has untapped potential (which the readers will see in a few spin offs already announced by the author) and the promise of revisiting the Wild Hunt characters in the future.

If you enjoy a complex world filled with captivating characters, wild action and lots of romance, friendship and more then you will enjoy the Wild Hunt series immensely. With the author promising one more novella to round out the series coming in 2022, this reader may be sad to see this series end but am really excited to see where the author goes within this world of hers that she created.

January is settling more into her life in Moonshadow Bay and is finding joy again with friends, family, and her job at Conjure Ink. As she awaits to face with the Aseer to see where her magical strengths are, she finds secrets that are buried in her family history around d her great-grandmother Colleen and a long-lost child. Then when she and Ari take on a private case, they find it too big for them to handle and ask in Conjure Ink to help them out in solving the riddle that is around a child who may not be a child. As January investigates, she finds herself being led to the woodlings and magical intrigue. With danger coming for them, January finds herself determined to help solve this case and figure out answers even as she finds her own world view changing the more, she learns about the magical world she lives in.

WOW is all I can say, and I am going to not mention that easter egg that is hidden in the third book because that alone had me going ‘OMG!!” out loud in delight and shock. Ms. Galenorn is on my auto-buy regardless of what she writes because I just adore her books and with this third book in her new paranormal women’s fiction series, Moonshadow Bay, we get a story that is complex, mysterious, and more within its pages plus a few twists I sure didn’t see coming. If you read books one and two (Starlight Web and Midnight Web) then you are familiar with January and how she moved to Moonshadow Bay. If you haven’t then I highly recommend reading those first two books before CONJURE WEB as it leads into this one. I love January to pieces. She is older, more mature and I can relate to her and her travels as she navigates life as a divorce and picks up the pieces of a shattered marriage. What really intrigued me was how much she grew as a character between all three books the reader sees how she continues to find her strength and self-esteem again. Add in magical mysteries and secondary characters that keep the story rolling along nicely and all that combined is my catnip, so to speak.

Ms. Galenorn’ and I am extremely impressed at how she continues to expand Moonshadow Bay while also introducing some new characters to discover, a few old ones to know more of and a place that makes me want to yell ‘ROAD TRIP’ just to visit. The characters are so different and unique but also independent which lets me enjoy all their personalities immensely and I love how beautifully written they are. With a story that flows seamlessly from start to finish, the reader is taken on a journey that will leave you spellbound. So, sit back, take a load off and settle in as January finds herself once again in the thick of things as a new case and family secrets come together to give her answers and more in CONJURE WEB. Now all I am anxious is now book four, Harvest Web to get here so I can see what else is in store for the gang in Moonshadow Bay.
