So many years ago, Marcy’s ancestors were stolen from Earth but the ship they were on crashed and the humans had to learn to survive on the planet that they now call home. Even though the humans survived it seemed that the men have changed drastically, and the women are treated as slaves and taken whenever the men feel the need. Women are nothing but second-class citizens there for the pleasure of the men. When the day comes that Marcy cannot take this life anymore, she runs and finds herself in the hands of the Elorian’s. After all that Marcy has been through with the human men is she brave enough to trust the big male aliens?

Marcy and K-Tan’s story is an engaging read. Marcy is a strong woman who has survived so much and is still fighting. K-Tan is a good man who longs for a mate and a way to save his people. When he finds Marcy in his quarters K-Tan finds so much more than just a human woman. I enjoyed the way their relationship took shape. Their story is a sweet and sexy read. Love and trust are slowly earned and given. It was nice to see the way the Elorian’s treated woman, the tenderness that they show makes for a nice read. K-Tan and his people cannot imagine hurting women in any way and will fight to keep them safe. While he and Marcy work to figure things out K-Tan sends his men to save the other women from Marcy’s world. This book introduces readers to the Elorian males and what they are going through and it is a nice start to this series, and I am eager to see what will happen next in this world.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.

Captain Rick Raines didn’t know what he was getting himself into when he meets Karl, a young man who stirs Rick’s passion even as he tries to find out the secrets that hide behind this man’s eyes. With contraband cargo, privateers and mystery that swirl around Karl, Rick will find himself drawn in a war that will either kill him or give him the best thing- Karl’s heart.

BEYOND MERIDIAN is a fast paced futuristic adventure from start to finish. I love the dynamics between Capt. Raines and Karl as they banter back and forth while dodging privateers and talking their way past trouble. C. C. Bridges is a new author to me and I am definitely going to check out more of this author’s books. With a fast paced storyline, multi-dimensional characters and some steamy M/M sex scenes, you find yourself lost in the cosmos as BEYOND MERIDIAN heats up to spiral out of control.

Meet Captain Rick Raines, who is intrigued when a young, brash Karl asks to join his crew and when Karl finds cargo for the ship, Rick finds himself with more questions than answers. Karl is a man on a mission for the UPA and he doesn’t trust Rick yet with his secrets. Deep in enemy space, two men will find that the battle has just begun not only for Karl’s mission but for their hearts as well. These two characters go so well together. I loved how Rick melts when Karl is near him even as he fought the emotions that were connecting them together and Karl yearns to give Rick all his secrets. With some wonderful secondary characters that keep the story flowing, C. C. Bridges delivers a spine tingling story that will leave you wanting more.

BEYOND MERIDIAN
is a really enjoyable story that leaves you breathless. I am hoping this author goes back for more adventures with Rick, Karl and the United Planetary Alliance. If you enjoy a good futuristic story with some interesting characters, then grab BEYOND MERIDIAN. It will transport you to the cosmos and beyond.

Isabel Warren is standing on a bridge trying to make up her mind to throw herself off. At 41 she’s not old and she’s running a clinic that tests males for fertility. In 2030 a virus ran rampant and most of the male population was made infertile. It seems that older women are now the most dangerous thing around since the virus itself. For when they make love to a younger man, that man will become infertile. Isabel has done just that, and not with one man, but with two. She has ruined their lives and has destroyed herself. How could she go against the morality laws that forbid such ‘Dirty Love’. Connor and Trevor have other ideas and are not going to let her go so easily. They are willing to risk everything for the woman they both love, but is she willing?

As with every book by Lacey Savage, I just sigh after enjoying a really good read. Ms Savage gives her readers a story with great characters that are full of emotions. A plot that delivers a few surprises and sex that will knock your socks off. In this story we visit a very bleak future where women over forty are no longer allowed to have sex with men. A vibrator can help for a while, but a full-blooded woman needs a man to completely satisfy her and our heroine is no different. As usual, Ms. Savage infuses this story with emotions and feelings that will have the reader sitting on the edge of her seat in one moment, and in another squirming in her seat. I can’t get enough of Lacey Savage’s work and am always on the look out for her next release.

CLICK TO PURCHASE! Jonette is out on a mission, and hoping to return home when she is shot out of the sky and crash lands on a planet she had no intention of ever visiting. When Wylie finally has Jonette in his arms, he never thought it would be when she is wounded. But, the healers of Aragon take care of her, and Kiile, the leader of Aragon, is bound to make sure that she is well before she starts off again. The people of Aragon have a shaky alliance with the Reeka’s and as Wylie is so willing, Kiile makes him Jonette’s protector while they find out who could have wanted to shoot Jonette out of the sky. Lives are threatened, people are poisoned, and behind the scenes lurk more than one villain who is trying to keep Wylie and Jonette apart. Wylie hopes that the investigation takes long enough for him to prove to his winsome warrior that his feelings for her are true.

Another wonderful, action packed story from this very talented author. Angela Verdenius knows how to weave an adventure that keeps the reader turning the pages, suspense that keeps the reader biting her nails, a romance that is sensual and emotional and then she adds a good dose of humor that keeps the reader smiling. I’ve been a fan of her Heart and Soul series since the first one. In this story, she’s pitted Jonette, a virginal but tough Reeka warrior with a very alpha Wylie who is trying to seduce the skittish woman. I loved both characters and the banter between them was at times hilarious. Poor Wylie got a few bruises while trying to get near Jonette. The suspense and adventure is great too, with murder, madness and mayhem abounding. I loved how this author gave her readers a look into the minds of the villains....yes, villains! So, you lovers of scifi, get this book now and have the ride of your life!

CLICK TO PURCHASE! Salcie has always loved Cristian. From the time he was old enough to climb her branches she’s watched him grow into a handsome, sexy-as-hell hunk. But he doesn’t see her as a potential lover because she is the willow tree at the bottom of his garden. Cristian has great plans. He is going to leave the village and become a big time architect in the city. He’s selling his house and land and only has to clear the wood before he leaves. Salcie achieves pollisexation just in time to distract the woodcutters from murdering her fellow trees. She’s happy to finally be a woman and show Cristian her new, sexy body. He is her mate. Trouble begins when the other trees shift and they are ready to defend themselves from their would-be murderer, Cristian.

Now this is a paranormal story with a difference. Shape-shifting trees! And Marie Treanor has written such an entertaining story that will captivate the reader. You may think, shape-shifting trees? But, really, it does all work out and the back story explains just how, where and why and it really is all quite believable. Marie Treanor gives her readers great characters. Salcie is a heroine who knows she needs and wants Cristian, but she also has to come to terms with who she really is. Cristian is a hunk and the love scenes are hot and burning. I enjoyed this story very much and can recommend it highly. This is a great concept and I was happy to hear that there are going to be more books with this theme from other authors.

CLICK TO PURCHASE! Lily Atkins has been guilt tripped into taking care of her younger sister. So, they go off canoeing with some of her sister’s friends. Everything is fine, until her sister decides to take off, with the canoes and Lily’s purse. Now Lily is alone and plotting revenge while she figures out how to get back home. Trace Lagun has eyed the curvaceous Lily from afar and knows something is wrong when the girls return without her. He decides to go and “rescue” Lily. Maybe, if they spend some time together she’ll open her petals for him. He’s been too long in post-pollisexation and is wondering if he’ll ever find his mate. With a storm brewing, he has the perfect excuse not to head home right away. He can hardly wait to get her alone.

Celia Kyle has a very quirky sense of humor which shows loud and clear in this story. I had to laugh out loud at the scene when Lily is trying to pee and the trees are coping a feel. The whole story is full of humor, laughs and strong emotions. The sexual tension between Lily and Trace is palpable. The love scenes are extra hot! Celia Kyle really knows how to write a fantastic, funny story that will hold her reader captive. I also have it on good authority, that she is the woman behind the whole idea of Big, Wild and Blooming. It’s a clever idea and one that I am sure many readers will enjoy. I am certainly looking forward to reading more stories with this theme and more from Celia Kyle.
