Most of the Iverson boarding school students go home for Christmas, but the orphans on scholarships stay behind. This year a storm prevents their gifts being delivered so two werewolves decide to bring the presents in on a sleigh through the pack lands.

Sisters Stella and Charlotte are working at the school and also stayed over the holidays so they are there to thank the hunky delivery werewolves, Cade and Oliver.

Yes, it’s a predictable story line, and a bit cheesy, but it does fulfill most people’s expectations about the festive season. Good triumphs over all the difficulties, and even the school’s problem child is healed and becomes happy. Naturally the hero and heroine fall instantly in love and the sex is hot and the future looks promising. Also there’s very obviously room for a sequel about the sister and the other werewolf.

A short happy little holiday read. The story is quite undemanding but it meets the readers’ expectations. There’s not a lot of world-building that can happen in such a short length, but the author does her best to squeeze in some information about the werewolves, their pack and habits.

A nice clean book, with no annoying authorial, technical or editing problems, which pleased me greatly.

Pierce Brannan is extremely rich. The diamond has been in his family for generations and he wants it back. What Pierce wants he has the power to make sure he gets. The moment he sees Riley he wants her, too. As the book blurb so eloquently explains, “It’s complicated”.

I was a bit doubtful about this book at the start. After all, the evil twin plotline is rather old and tired. But Ms. McCall handles it well, with a few nice deviations from the norm, and a good plot twist at the docks that I really enjoyed.
Pierce and Rilee are very well drawn characters and the reader becomes engaged with them very quickly. Rilee’s sister’s actions are completely believable and her character is nicely handled and is an asset to the story as well.

The story draws the reader in professionally, and is definitely a page turner. There were a couple of truly great scenes in the book. The sex is hot and detailed and adds nicely to the story. The reader understands and appreciates the main characters, their actions and reactions.

There were several nasty grammatical errors and one very annoying plot problem, but overall the story was entertaining and engaging, and I truly enjoyed the ending.

Ranger Cooper Holt is alone for the holidays. Well, that is, he has no human company. He’s been out trying to catch the low-lifes who have been killing white wolves. His ‘partner’ is his dog Tas. Little does he know that Tas is actually shapeshifter Tas Rivers who is working undercover with him. She isn’t allowed to shift into a human in front of him, but he has no qualms going about his everyday life, including showering and walking around naked in front of her, which is driving her crazy. Cooper hasn’t had a woman in a while, and wishes just once for something he knows won’t come true, but is he in for a big surprise. In order to save Cooper’s life, Tas must break a rule and blow her cover.

Wow, this is a great story. Absolutely wonderful. I really got all warmed up reading this one and did a bit of lusting after Cooper myself. Especially after all those descriptions of him walking around naked, water dripping off his....well, you’ll just have to read it yourself. And Tas is a wonderful heroine who I really warmed up to and started rooting for. You can certainly feel for her, as she gets to know this man and works with him everyday in her canine form, but cannot show herself to him in her human form. How frustrating. But when things become a matter of life or death, Tas doesn’t hesitate...yoohoo! BJ McCall knows how to capture her audience and hold them until the last word. This is a story you don’t want to miss.
