Darby Calder agrees to a 48-hour truce with the man who broke her heart in order to keep the peace at her brother’s upcoming tropical wedding.  As an investigator, she constantly runs into the infuriating lawyer Bryce Lancaster in court cases.  They alternately snarl and ignore each other as best they can.  But when his sister marries her brother, they are forced to actually speak to each other and that is when the magic begins and secrets are revealed.

Sydney Somers’ MUST BE MAGIC is a sweet yet bumpy love story.  The characters are fun and literally magical.  The story is the unraveling of a bunch of misunderstanding and lack of communication that comes about in a moment of weakness.  Though this reader felt that the ending was inevitable and the magic a bit unnecessary to the story, Darby and Bryce’s chemistry made the tale worth the journey to read it.

Romance fans with a yearning for a good happily-ever-after are sure to find Sydney Somers’ MUST BE MAGIC a fun and easy summer read by the pool.

The attraction between them threatens to overwhelm both of them. Emma has been promised to another, against her will. Together they will find out some amazing things and they will see that more than enchantments are at work.

Wow, Sydney Somers writes a hot, exciting adventure that will have you glued to your monitor, scrolling pages and sitting on the edge of your seat in anticipation. I have always loved this author’s work and this title is no exception. From the first page I was captured and held tight. Emma is a great heroine. Her magic is not quite up to par, but she manages each situation with bravado. Cian is all alpha, warrior and very much a male. He is absolutely gorgeous. He can mark me anytime. There are some interesting secondary characters that give life and depth to the story and I am hoping to be able to read Brianna’s story soon! We get a glimpse of something between her and a wraith. Ms Somers writes red hot love scenes that will have you reaching for an ice bucket or your significant other. Yes, PRIMAL PLEASURE is not to be missed!

Wow, this is a story that has it all. Wonderful complex characters. Great dialogue. Really tight sexual tension. Hot, emotion filled sex scenes. A plot that is exciting and with a ‘didn’t see it coming’ twist at the end. I found this story breathtaking and I couldn’t stop reading it until the last word. I’ve read other books from Sydney Somers and I can honestly say that this very talented author always delivers a story that stays with you long after reading and you’ll want to turn around and read it all over again. You’ll enjoy her characters with all their strengths and flaws. The romance sizzles and the sexual tension is on high flame. You’ll be hanging on your seat waiting for Rae and Parker to finally give in to their passion. If you want to go on a wild ride, then run and get this story, and while you’re picking up this one, get the rest of her books too. You will not be disappointed!

She also enjoys Tristan, the said co-owner, even if it is only in her dreams. He seems to be taking pains to avoid her. One night, however, he decides it would be a good idea to drive her home, even though another side of him thinks it wouldn’t. Before long, Kennedy feels like Alice, who fell down the rabbit hole. She’s been marked by a Wraith and Tristan is not who she thought he was. Tristan is on a quest to find Excalibur and needs to break a curse. This quest could just destroy his family or make him lose his fated mate.

Take exciting, thrilling, fast-paced, sensual and erotic and you have a good idea what you are getting when you pick up this book to read. I would recommend you sit with your favourite drink, kick up your feet and get ready for a wonderful ride. You will adore these characters. Tristan is all alpha and needs to learn to keep himself in check. Kennedy is feisty and is no easy push-over. I enjoyed the secondary characters and hopefully will see more of them in future books. The plot is on-the-edge-of-your-seat and will keep you riveted to the monitor. And the sex...oh my! Things get really hot between Tristan and Kennedy. I certainly got all hot and bothered...phew! Sydney Somers masterfully puts a lot of emotion in this story that keeps you reading until the end. Oh, and there are some very clever twists and turns. Go get this book now! You won’t regret it.

I just adore Sydney Somers books. She writes a tight, exciting adventure with characters you just have to love. She adds some hot, hot sex and gives her readers a well rounded story that will have your toes curling, your breath coming in pants and your eyes glued to the monitor. This talented author gives the reader in this particular story a double romance, with double the sensuality. It is a real treat and a must read as all her books are. I loved the paranormal elements in this book as Tate and her family are all witches and warlocks. The interaction between Tate and Gideon is very believable with lots of emotion between them. Ms. Somers brings out the hurt that Tate felt so that the reader can really feel it. On the other side, Gideon’s battle over his love for Tate and not wanting her to be hurt is another emotional ride. Get those fingers tapping over the keyboard and pick up this book!

She’s got an adventure that is breath-taking, she’s got villains that are dangerous and she’s got a romance that is hotter than hot. Ms. Somers writes dialogue that is witty and snappy. She gives her readers a hero who is to swoon for and a heroine who is feisty and gutsy. This is an all round great story. The sexual tension that sizzles between Kaela and Lorcan will just about melt down your monitor and the sex scenes are panty wetting hot! Ms. Somers infuses her story with a lot of emotion so get ready for a roller-coaster of a ride. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can highly recommend it. In fact, I haven’t been disappointed with any of this talented author’s work.

She’s plagued by nightmares and fears surface at unexpected moments when she needs to stay sharp. A couple of times, she’s almost become the victim of a demon attack. Braxton is a man who plays by the book. Since becoming a shadow destroyer, he’s kept his relationship to Quinn very professional. Until one night he spends some glorious hours in her arms. Hours that she forgets. Then, her twin sister is kidnapped and Braxton still tries to keep their relationship under control. With the strain of the hunt and Quinn finding out that things in her past did not quite happen as she thought, his secret might make her lose the trust he has carefully built with her.

This is a fabulous story. I enjoyed it so very much. I could hardly put the ebook reader down it so captivated me. All through the story, Sydney Somers throws out why, why, why and you have to keep reading to find out the answers. Ms Somers writes intense, complicated characters that demand your attention. She writes hot love scenes that sizzle and scintillate. The relationship between Quinn and Braxton reeks with sexual tension. Poor Braxton tortures himself trying to stay away from Quinn. She gives her readers a plot that is breathtaking and exciting. This is a talented writer who will go far in her career. I made the mistake with starting with the second book in this series but watch this space, the first and third books will be reviewed here. I can highly recommend this story and I am looking forward to reading more!

Sydney Somers does it again as she continues this action packed series with another gripping story. Here we have the playboy of the Shadow Destroyers group who finds and falls for his woman. This series is dark, humourous, intense and just fantastic. Again, Sydney Somers cleverly involves the reader as she commands the senses and emotions in this original story. Multi-faceted characters dominate the story, clever twists and turns keep the reader reading and the action is fast-paced whether swords are lopping off demon’s heads or the hero and heroine are engaging in some hot and sweaty sex. You get the feeling that the Shadow Destroyers are a tight knit family who care for each other. Drew has to really struggle with his feelings and emotions and poor Blair has to tackle the new powers that she has recieved. This is a series that I want in print and on a special place on my ‘to keep’ shelf. Please Ms. Somers, tell us that there will be more!

The interaction between Jordan and Gage is highly explosive and tenderly emotional. This story is an emotional roller coaster that will pull on the reader and draw her into the world of the Shadow Destroyers. The secondary characters are all unique and add depth to the story without taking away from the main characters. Sydney Somers writes love scenes that engage the reader making you pant and enjoy the experience with them. I absolutely loved this story. I started this series with the second book and couldn’t wait to get my greedy little hands on the first. Next the third one is up and I am already half way through it. I hope there are more books coming in this wonderful series.
