HAUNTED BY YOUR SOUL takes place a few months after the end of MY HEART IS WITHIN YOU and it finds Jacob, lost, grieving and stuck in one place. He has no care except for football and with Kristair’s memories and heart inside him, it has him feeling like he is slowly going insane. When Kristair finally is able to reach out to his young lover, Jacob thinks it is all a dream and Kristair senses the torment that is eating Jacob alive inside. When the syndicate comes back, hell bent on taking what Kristair knew with them, Jacob has to work without the one man he had learned to trust and desire. Ms. Labbe delivers another spine tingling story that leaves you gasping for more at the very end. Twists and turns abound and you never know what will happen next when you flip the pages of this next story in the Triquetra series. Strong characters, a fast paced storyline and some twists even I didn’t see coming will leave you breathless.

HAUNTED BY YOUR SOUL has Jacob trying to live half a life after his love, Kristair succumbs to the madness that haunts all ancient vampires. No longer caring about anything but football, Jacob tries to deal with life even as he grieves silently holding all the emotions inside until they explode in a scene that left me with tears running down my face. It was so heartbreaking; it felt like I was living it alongside Jacob. Jacob is a character that was strong and knew where his life was headed especially when Kristair stole his heart and they fell in love. Now the syndicate isn’t done with him and he finds himself in a race against a group determined to have whatever knowledge Kristair left behind, no matter the cost. These two characters continue to keep getting stronger with each book in the series. Strong, multi-dimensional characters add to the depth of the storyline and deliver countless hours of reading pleasure. I loved the dynamics between Jacob and his friends as he tries to stop the wreck of a life from consuming him and trying to live up to the promises he made to himself when he lost Kristair.

HAUNTED BY YOUR SOUL is a strong, emotionally rich story that will transport you while reading it. It is one series that will leave a lasting impression upon you and eager to see if Jacob and Kristair will ever get their happily ever after. I love this author’s writing style and if you enjoy an emotionally rich series that has a sprinkling of supernatural, a dash of adventure and a romance that defies the gods, then grab the entire Triquetra series. Just remember to have a box of Kleenex next to you for those emotional moments.

OUR SACRED BALANCE is a fitting end to a wonderful series. I read this one into the wee hours of the morning, crying, cheering and rooting for Kristair and Jacob to overcome their many obstacles to get their happily ever after. Kristair has to learn to be a human in the 21st century while Jacob has to deal with the helplessness he feels with their mental link gone. Danger surrounds them and unless they learn to communicate again, Jacob and Kristair will find the life they are building totally broken. Ms. Labbe is a talented storyteller who delivers a powerful ending to a trilogy that was very action packed, fraught with danger and poignant at the same time. The sex scenes enhanced the bond between Jacob and Kristair and didn’t take away from the storyline at all. I highly recommend reading this trilogy in order-MY HEART IS WITHIN YOU, HAUNTED BY YOUR SOUL and OUR SACRED BALANCE- as each book continues from the story before.

OUR SACRED BALANCE is a story that had me lost within its pages and one I am eager to read again in the future. I highly recommend this wonderful series to anyone who enjoys a good adventure packed M/M story with vampires, magic and more. I look forward to reading more from this new favorite author of mine and am eager to see what she conjures next for her readers.

Tormented by voices and a syndicate of vampires determined to take the ancient knowledge he has for themselves, Kristair tries to stave off the madness by finding a human vessel and in that he succeeds in Jacob Corvin, a strong, young football player who stirs more than lust in Kristair. Jacob is a normal college student, trying to rise above his humble beginnings and make something of himself. Drawn to the mysterious man stalking him, he finds out there is much more to the night than shadows even as he fears the changes that are happening to him.

MY HEART IS WITHIN YOU is a dark story full of loss, desires and love. Ms. Labbe delivers a story that will alternately have you sighing with pleasure then scared witless. This is an author who knows how to keep her readers on tenterhooks as they flip the pages trying to see what would happen next for Kristair and Jacob. I loved the way this author drew you in and then proceeded to drag you on the whirl wind as Jacob and Kristair try to find a way to stop the madness that plagues Kristair and to enjoy the love that blossoms between them. Multi-dimensional characters, twists that even I didn’t see coming and some scorching hot sex scenes that enhanced the story will keep the reader glued to till the very end.

Meet Jacob Corvin, normal college student, playing football and dreaming of making something of himself until one night, he finds himself drawn to a mysterious man-one that he knows has been watching him forever it seems. Strong, rugged and totally out of his depth as he falls for Kristair and finds out that vampires do exist. Kristair is a really old vampire, one of the last ancients that walk the earth. When he finds himself hearing voices and his descent into supposed madness begins, he struggles to find a vessel, a human that will hold his heart and soul. Drawn to Jacob, Kristair never expects to bond so deeply with the young man nor fall in love either. Both of the main characters are perfect for one another. Kristair is old fashioned, strong yet also vulnerable as well. Jacob is brash, determined and at times, a bit impulsive. These two connect on a level that brought tears to my eyes and had me rooting for them to live happily ever after. Some wonderful secondary characters kept the story flowing smoothly and had me wondering what their stories would be like.

MY HEART IS WITHIN YOU is a fast moving story that will leave you breathless and longing for more. I ran to grab the next two in the trilogy to see what would happen next for Kristair and Jacob as the unexpected ending left me speechless. If you enjoy a darker vampire story with a gothic feel, then grab MY HEART IS WITHIN YOU and settle in for hours of pure entertainment.
