I have to admit, when I saw Aubrey Ross’s latest series coming out, I was very excited. After reading the back book blurb, I immediately had to grab it. Unfortunately whether my expectations were too high, or whatever the case might have been, this was a disappointing book to me. I couldn’t figure out why I should care about the characters at all. Jesse came off as an annoyance and Rafe was a bit too manipulative to my tastes. I normally love this author’s work but A TASTE OF TWILIGHT left me cold.

A TASTE OF TWILIGHT introduces the reader to a vampire rock band who has ancient enemies. Add in a lot of sex and too many plot twists to keep count, I felt I needed a score card to figure out who was who in this story, what they meant to Rafe and Jesse and why they had to keep having sex. The storyline sounded promising but lost steam midway through. This author normally astounds me with her complex characters and wonderful storylines but in A TASTE OF TWILIGHT was not the case. I don’t think I will get the other books in this series but look forward to other books by this author. I just hope they are a bit better than this one.

Can Max see beyond the perception he has of Collette to see the woman behind the impish features and maybe find the one woman who completes him-heart, body and soul?

This is the third book of Ms. Ross’s Dichotomy series and it is just as hot as the last two. With returning favorite characters and a feisty heroine to keep Max on his toes, Ms. Ross delivers a wonderful hot story to steam up those cold winter nights.

Collette may look sweet, innocent and need to be protected but as a shape shifter, she doesn’t need anyone to guard her from anything. When she pairs up with Max, the chemistry is electric and she tries to get him to see the woman behind the petite body. Max has no idea what to make of Collette. She is infuriating, sexy and dang, easy on the eyes but she is an unknown to him and when she volunteers for the next mission, he finds himself wanting to teach her lesson she will n ever forget.

CRIMSION DICHOTOMOY 3: TEMPTATION is a delightfully hot read as Ms. Ross delves deep into the vampire underworld and keeps the sexual tension on high as Collette and Max duel with each other as they try to prove their respective point of views…with delightfully sensual results. Witty, sinfully hot and a wonderful way to keep the winter chill away. Ms. Ross has delighted this reviewer since her first Dichotomy book and she continues with TEMPTATION. Can Max and Collette find the path to their desires? Will they succeed in their mission? I strongly suggest you read the first two books in the Crimson Dichotomy series, SEDUCTION and PASSION, to get the sense of who the many secondary characters are mentioned throughout the series as well as the back story of the series as well. Ms. Ross does a phenomenal job in keeping her readers’ imagination and I hope there is more in the Crimson Dichotomy series in the future.

OH MY GOD! This is all I can say after reading the next installment from Ms. Ross. This is fast becoming one of my favorite series with the wonderful and growing casts of characters, continued storylines and that hot blazing passion that fairly melts the screen. PASSION picks up after the first Crimson Dichotomy book, SEDUCTION, left off. Ms. Ross delves deeper into the Crimson Dichotomy storyline and delivers a pulse pounding, “get ready for the ride” story in PASSION.

In PASSION, we meet Sentinel Lukas Mandalay, who finds himself drawn to Rebecca McNeil, the one woman he has to guard from the rogue vampire stalking Halfling dichotomies. It helps that she is as beautiful as a cover model and just as fiery as her picture. Rebecca is fiercely independent, self-contained and afraid of passion. Can Lukas show her the delight of giving into passion’s desires or will it burn out before it begins?

What a story is all I can say after reading PASSION. Ms. Ross delivers another pulse pounding ride as she weaves her spell around you in PASSION. Her characters fly off the pages and her scorching hot sex scenes will leave you breathless and just a bit antsy for your significant other to get home. I do want to mention there are some ménage and other kinky scenes that may not appeal to everyone. If you enjoy a different take on vampires and the paranormal, then grab Ms. Ross’s Crimson Dichotomy Series and taste the PASSION in her latest installment. You won’t be disappointed in Ms. Ross’s world of Vampires, Dichotomy and other yummy delights.

I have to admit I didn’t read the first Dichotomy series and after SEDUCTION, I am definitely going to check it out. This is definitely a different take on the normal paranormal characters. Ms. Ross’s writing is tight, fast paced and it keeps the reader on the edge of the seat from start to finish.

Meet Bella, a daughter of one of the Elder Councilman’s and about to get her world shook up when a revengefully Dichotomy and a ruthless vampire join forces to cause havoc on the council and in the realm of Dichotomy. She is independent, chafes at this bodyguard that brings warring emotions to the surface and hates that her body longs for him. Steffen Ziegler is a Sentinel, and the only one to keep Bella safe from the evil that is coming for her. Can he keep her safe? This character is a “wet your panties” type alpha male determined to do his job and not give into the attraction he feels for her. The characters meld well together and gods, the sex scenes are the type to either take a cold shower or jump your significant other. The secondary characters kept the story flowing and the reader gets caught up n a world of paranormal beings and magic.

CRIMSON DICHOTOMY: SEDUCTION is a delightful surprise that will keep you enthralled as Ms. Ross delves deep in a world where vampires and other things that go bump in the night work and play. Get ready to be seduced by it all! I am highly recommending this kick off to this new series and hope to see what Ms. Ross has in store for the Dichotomy.
