Going to Seattle to help out in her good friends wedding, Mischa never thought she would find a kindred spirit yet in Connor she does. Although she longs for love, after watching so many relationships fail Mischa is only too happy to agree to a no strings attached fling with Connor. Little do they know that love decides when and where it will happen and not them. But can they let go enough to enjoy it and grab their happy ever after or will they let it slip away because of their own stubbornness?

This is another great book in this series. I enjoy each book that continues this series and TEMPTATION’S EDGE is no different. Both Mischa and Connor are great characters. Mischa is a strong woman and is more than able to stand on her own. Connor is a wonderful man and Dom. He may be stubborn but he loves with all his heart. I loved Connor and fell for him right from the start. The two make a wonderful couple. The sparks ignite right from the start and only burn hotter as the story goes on. I loved watching the struggle that the two go through as they try to make sense of their feelings. Not only is this a hot read but it is a beautiful romance as well. The two enjoy themselves and find that their hearts are in for the long haul and seeing Mischa and Connor work through it all was a nice read. I also enjoyed many of the secondary characters and hope that some of them get their stories told. Eve Berlin works her magic once again with this book and I hope to visit the Pleasure Dome club again.

Kara has longed for so much more in her relationships but the last time she opened up to a man he left her. So when she sees an old high school crush across the room at a friend’s party she does not know what to do. The minute Dante sees Kara across the room all of the feelings he has for her rise to the surface. Both Dante and Kara feel the attraction between them but fear it as well. The two must decide whether or not they will follow their hearts desire or loose their chance at happiness.

This book is one hot read that burns up the pages. The sparks fly right from the beginning of the story and turn into so much more at the end. The two make a good couple and the love that they share shines through it all. While I enjoyed meeting Dante I found that I did not connect with Kara. She constantly complains about Dante and him not opening up but she is not as open as she could be either. She hinges everything on whether or not Dante will say I love you to her yet she has no qualms about not saying it herself. I did enjoy watching their relationship develop. They must each learn to trust each other and fight for their love. It was nice to see Kara able to enjoy and engage in the kind of relationship she needs and wants and not being berated for it. In Dante she finds not only the perfect Dom but also the perfect man for her.

This was a sexy read that also comes with a love story. The author does a wonderful job of bringing the characters and their world to life. This book may not be a favorite but I do enjoy this author’s work and will be looking for more in the future.
