What would you do if the man you loved turned into a monster and killed in front of you? Jesse does what everyone would do; he runs. The only problem is that Jesse is running from his mate and his protector. He does not realize that his mate is the good guy not a monster. Frank was protecting him and now he is tired of running and to top it all off Jesse is pregnant. So many thoughts are running around in Jesse’s mind right now from monsters to men being pregnant he does not know what to do. When he stops for food and a shower at a truck stop he finds himself face to face with others like Frank. As tired as Jesse is he tries to run again but Frank has found him and is not about to let go again.

Jesse is a good man that has found himself in a world that he never imagined could exist. Frank knew that he had to tell Jesse the truth but never got the chance. Now that he has found him Frank will do anything that he can to make Jesse understand his world and keep him safe. Jesse and Frank are a nice couple and I enjoyed watching the two reconnect. Their love is strong and deepens as Frank brings Jesse into his world. As the two find their way we get some more glimpses at the previous couples in this series. Love is strong and worth fighting for and these men learn that lesson the hard way.

Their story moves at a quick pace and keeps you engaged all the way through making this a nice addition to the Luna Werewolves series.

Brooks never thought he would ever be so lucky as to find his mate so when he stumbles upon Carter he does not let the man slip away. Brooks is not about to miss out on his happy ever after. Life has not been good to Brooks and he is determined to find happiness where ever he can but it seems that his presence in town has been noticed by the Hunters. Will these two find their happy ever after or will the Hunters have their way and finish what they started in the town?
Brooks and Carter’s story is a sweet read. Brooks is a strong man. He has gone through so much yet he continues to fight and survive. Carter is a good man who lives his life the best he knows how. Together the two make a nice couple and it was nice to see the two fight for their love. Carter is thrust into another world that he never knew existed and must make some hard choices.  The love that the men share is strong and shows through everything that they do. As we watch Brooks and Carter’s relationship take shape we also get to see characters from the previous books show up.  A misunderstanding brings them all together and survival keeps them together.

Brooks and Carter’s story moves quickly and kept my attention from start to finish. With a nice balance to the action and romance it is a nice installment to the New Luna Werewolves series and it has me interested in what will happen next in this world.

Renny has had his life turned upside down. While working as a forensic photographer he captures something in his latest case pictures. He does not know what but it seems others are interested in what he may have captured on film. When a group of men begin to ask questions and badger him Renny begins to feel uncomfortable. When a monster comes to his rescue Renny does not know what to do. There are so many conflicted emotions running through him he cannot figure out just what is up and what is down anymore. Calvin is a man and a monster all rolled up in one but this monster is one of the good guys. Can he find a way to explain to Renny the truth and get the man to trust him let alone love him or will the hunters have the last say after all?

I enjoyed Renny and Calvin’s story. Renny is thrust into a world that he never imagined existed. He must make some hard choices that could cost him more than he knows. It was nice to watch Calvin and Renny bond as their story goes on. The two have a great physical relationship but must learn to trust one another outside of the bedroom. As Renny and Calvin learn about each other we still get to see more from Dakota and Ash. Their story is not over yet and continues after this book. I really liked seeing the softer and serious side of Calvin. When we first meet him in this series he is  a fun loving guy and now with all that he has been through Calvin has grown and we see the good man that he has turned into.  He is learning what he needs to do as an alpha and what it means to have a mate to take care of. I enjoyed the quiet times that Renny and Calvin have together as they figure out what their future holds for them.

Once again, the author does a wonderful job of combining the action and romance together. The characters are well written and this world comes to life nicely. I am excited to see what will happen next in this world.

As Ash and Dakota begin to settle in to their life as mates new danger begins to invade their happy ever after. The hunters are coming closer and now Calvin is missing as well. When the danger hits to close to home Ash and Dakota must find Calvin and work together to keep everyone safe but after what happened to the betas staying with Calvin, will he be able to forgive Dakota for not being there when they needed him the most. Can the two men find a balance and keep Ash safe or have they lost their friend Calvin already?

This story is a nice continuation of Dakota and Ash’s adventure. I enjoyed getting to see the two men build a stronger bond and try to help their friend Calvin through a tough time. The friendship between Dakota and Calvin Is pushed to the breaking point and we see that Dakota may be an alpha but he does admit his faults. Each of the men are strong in their own way but together they are a great team. They are still learning to work together but are more than willing to try. I enjoyed getting to see more of Calvin’s personality come out in this book. He is a good man who is going through so much right now. Emotions are strong throughout this story. Ash and Dakota are in the midst of connecting both physically and mentally. The two are always hot together yet their love and trust always shines through it all. It was nice to see Ash begin to find his way through the new world that he has been thrust into.  The author has done a nice job of bringing this world to life. With the latest development in their adventure I cannot wait to see what happens next with these characters.

When Ash decided to run from his abusive relationship he never thought that he would end up meeting someone like Dakota. Fate somehow brought the big man to Ash when he needed him the most but Dakota has some secrets and a past that once revealed may frighten Ash away. As the two begin to bond Dakota must make the decision to tell Ash everything or loose what they have been building. Will Ash be able to accept what Dakota is or will Dakota lose another mate? After what Ash has been through will he be able to understand and accept Dakota’s true nature? Their bond grows stronger with each day but is it truly enough?

Life never turns out as you expect it and Ash learns this the hard way. He is trying to survive and stay under the radar. All is fine until his ex finds him. Ash thinks that it is the end but life is not ready to give up on him just yet and brings Dakota to Ash. I enjoyed watching these two men find their way to a happy ever after. Dakota is a good man and he has gone through so much yet he is willing to do so much for Ash no matter that it goes against his nature. Ash is a wonderful man that got mixed up with the wrong partner but is trying to turn his life back around. The two make a great couple. It was nice to see the attraction between them turn into something much deeper. Their love shines brightly through everything that they do.

Not only do we get to watch Dakota and Ash’s adventure but we are also introduced to Calvin who makes
quite the impression and I hope that we get to see more of him in this series.

After Zayne helps another pack member escape from their abusive pack he finds himself in a similar pediment. At what he thought was a safe pack Zayne is bitten and mated against his will. Peter did the only thing he could think of to save Zayne from having to return to the abusive pack but it seems that he has done the unthinkable and tied himself to a man who despises him. Peter not only hates the situation but himself as well. He tries to stay away from Zayne but the mating call is too strong and every time he thinks that he may be making some progress to at least having a civil relationship with Zayne something happens to sabotage it. Will the two men ever find a way to communicate and understand or will the two give up their love without a fight?

Zayne and Peter's story is a nice continuation of this series. Marcy Jacks has built a wonderful world full of good characters and emotions. Zayne and Peter have a complicated journey. Peter tries to do what is right and to keep Zayne safe.  Zayne is still recovering from his previous abusive pack and his emotions and thoughts are all over the place.  The two seem to be in a continuous cycle of one step forward and two steps backward, never seeming to make any progress until Zayne's previous pack comes calling.  Watching these two finally fight for their love made for a nice read. When push comes to shove Peter and Zayne see the truth and the two learn the hard way just what they can lose.

The author does a good job of mixing the action and the romance together in this story.  It pulled me in right from the start and had me glued to my reader to see just what would happen with Zayne and Peter.  I cannot wait to return to this pack and see what happens next.

While running in the woods from a crazed wolf Sam is saved by Logan but what will Sam do when he finds out what Logan is? Wolfhounds are what killed his entire pack. How can he live with a wolfhound being his mate? Can Logan show Sam that he is different and prove his love? Is there a chance at a happy ever after for these two with all the chaos going on in the house or are they doomed from the start? When a new development happens with the strange wolf in the woods Logan and Sam’s new bond is put to the test.

Once again Marcy Jacks brings this world and its characters to life. Logan may be a newer pack member but he is still a strong one. Sam is strong and independent but longs for the familiarity and love of the pack and a mate. When he finds this with wolfhounds he is not sure what to do. Sam must make some hard decisions and try to follow his heart.  Logan tries his hardest to prove to Sam that their love is worth fighting for but the evil scientist who made the wolfhounds are once again messing with them. They have killed Sam's pack and now they have brought more pain to Logan's pack. The two have a hard journey ahead of them.

This is a sweet romance that is filled with emotions. Not only do we get to see a bond begin to form with Sam and Logan but readers are also treated to more from the pack as it tries to deal with the latest turmoil to come to them. It is nice to see the men fight for love and find a way to deal with what is going on within the pack.

Griffin and Emery are figuring things out after being mated and they must still find a way for Emery to be accepted into the pack. When the two return to the lodge after a shopping trip the chaos begins. Another hunter has been found on the property and is claiming to be there because of Emery. How will the pack react to this new situation and when the new hunter brings more danger will Emery be safe? Griffin stands by his mate and will fight to the death to protect him. When another attack comes what will the pack do? Can Emery and Griffin find their happiness in the middle of all the chaos?

Emery and Griffin's story pulled me in right from the start. The men make a cute couple and I enjoyed watching their bond deepen as their adventure continued. The love that they have for one another is evident in all that they do. The two deal with a lot of emotions and find a way to work towards a happy ever after.. So much is going on as Griffin and Emery find their way. There is another mate that is found and there is another attack to deal with. This attack leaves the pack devastated and will pull on your heartstrings.

This book takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and is an intense read. It is a fast paced read that packs a punch and keeps you on your toes. Love and hate are strong and the humans must pick sides. Emery has chosen his side but what side will Neal choose and is it already too late? I am enjoying this series and hope that we get a happy ending for all the alphas in the end.

George has always had feelings for Jason but he knows nothing could ever come of those feelings. How could a young man like Jason even look at an older man like him? Add in that George was human and one of the evil men who experimented on Jason and his pack before they escaped. George is content on seeing Jason from afar and now helping the pack as much as he can as their doctor. Little does George know but Jason has feelings of his own and Jason cannot hold them back anymore. One night of passion brings these two together but misunderstandings and wrong ideas keep them apart. When danger comes to the pack Jason and others are ready to fight to keep what is theirs safe but is it already too late for George and Jason?

I am enjoying this series and seeing each of the wolfhounds find their mates. This story gives us a look at two of the constant characters in these books: Jason and George. The men are bound to each other because of circumstances but soon find that it is more than just proximity that draws them to one another. Neither man realizes what the other is feeling and the two have a hard time working through all of the emotions and assumptions that they have of each other and the situation. The two make some hard choices as their adventure continues. I enjoyed seeing the feelings and thoughts from George and Jason as they try to figure out just what it is they want to do.

There is a nice mix of emotions and action in this book. Not only do we get to watch George and Jason find their way but we also get to see more of Dean and Joey's relationship. Along the way we are also treated to more of Phoenix and what he is going through.

Peter and Phoenix may be mates but that does not solve everything.  The two are walking a fine line and working hard to not mess things up but lately things have been even tenser than normal. Phoenix hates humans and especially doctors which are the two things that make up Peter. How can Peter think that Phoenix would ever be happy having him as a mate? Phoenix does not understand humans and he thinks that he is constantly doing or saying the wrong thing to Peter. How can the two ever get past all the misconceptions and enjoy being mated?

I was eager to read about Phoenix  and Peter finding their way. Phoenix is one of the more volatile characters in this series and I wondered just how his mate would change him. I enjoyed watching Phoenix as he struggled to understand his human mate and how to interact with him.  Peter is a smart man but at times it seemed like Peter was a bit too naive for me. His reactions to some of the things said and done come off as very naive. He has deep feelings for Phoenix and struggles with how to share them with the man. Peter's refusal to acknowledge just what kind of shifter Phoenix and the rest of the pack are was mind boggling. So much that it becomes a sticking point in their story. Peter seems very young and inexperienced but when push comes to shove he is ready to help the pack and more than ready to face his demons and help the man that he loves.

While I enjoyed Peter and Phoenix's story it did not seem as intense of a ride as the other books in this series. There was a nice mix of action and emotions in this story and it moves along quickly never lagging or losing my interest. I just thought that Phoenix would get a more intense story than he got. Love finds a way to those who deserve it and Phoenix sure does deserve it.

The scientist who made Hyde named him after the classic horror movie monster because of his looks and build but there is a good man inside of him. When he follows his leader and stays with Max's pack Hyde never thought he would someday find his mate. He never even thought anyone would care for him let alone have a mate who might love him. Yet when the pack captures Neal he takes on whiff and knows that the man is his mate. Hyde must decide what to do about this revelation. Can a hunter and a wolfhound actually be mates?
I enjoyed seeing the difference in Hyde when he is with his mate. He soon realizes that he cares about Neal and what he thinks. Neal is a good man who was traumatized in his past. It was nice to see what happens when Neal begins to understand the world of the wolfhounds. The relationship between Neal and Hyde is full of emotions and surprises. Their attraction is but a stepping stone in their relationship and it begins to be the foundation that it stands on. The two make a nice couple and I was happy to see them work towards a happy ever after.

Not only so we get to see Neal and Hyde's bond form but we also get to see more from Dean and Joey as well as some of the other alpha's. The author does a good job of moving the series along in each book without things becoming repetitive. This story is fast paced and engaging. It left me satisfied yet wanting more and I cannot wait to see more from this world.

Smith has let himself be taken by the rival pack because of his mate. Knowing Teddy was his mate gave Smith hope and he gladly took the place of his alpha’s mate. Smith would never let this pack take the alpha’s mate or anyone else’s mate for that matter and when he realized his own mate was in this pack he knew what he had to do. As he travels with this small pack he begins to see the efforts that the alpha takes to keep them same but he still does not like being with them. Smith’s first priority is his mate and if this is where he wants to stay this is where Smith will stay but will they survive long enough to enjoy there mating?

Smith’s adventures with this new pack make for an interesting read. We get to see how another pack works from the inside and how different they are from Smith’s pack. The affection and comradery are there but this pack is living off of the land and is not as smart as Smith’s pack. He must find a way to help his mate as he deals with it all. When trouble comes we see how well this pack can work together and Smith is more than ready to help his mate and the other omega.

Emotions run high as the pack tries to adjust to Smith being a member and Smith must find a way to keep his loyalties to both his mate and his old pack. I enjoyed watching not only Smith and Teddy’s relationship grow but also the interactions of all the members of this new pack. When the threat of the human scientist hit this new pack they must find a way to help one of their own but where will it take them?

The author has done a nice job of bringing Smith and Teddy together and showing the trials that the pack and Smith go through.   I cannot wait to see what happens next in this world.
