The scientist who made
Hyde named him after the classic horror movie monster because of his looks and
build but there is a good man inside of him. When he follows his leader and
stays with Max's pack Hyde never thought he would someday find his mate. He
never even thought anyone would care for him let alone have a mate who might
love him. Yet when the pack captures Neal he takes on whiff and knows that the
man is his mate. Hyde must decide what to do about this revelation. Can a
hunter and a wolfhound actually be mates?
I enjoyed seeing the
difference in Hyde when he is with his mate. He soon realizes that he cares
about Neal and what he thinks. Neal is a good man who was traumatized in his
past. It was nice to see what happens when Neal begins to understand the world
of the wolfhounds. The relationship between Neal and Hyde is full of emotions
and surprises. Their attraction is but a stepping stone in their relationship
and it begins to be the foundation that it stands on. The two make a nice
couple and I was happy to see them work towards a happy ever after.
Not only so we get to
see Neal and Hyde's bond form but we also get to see more from Dean and Joey as
well as some of the other alpha's. The author does a good job of moving the
series along in each book without things becoming repetitive. This story is
fast paced and engaging. It left me satisfied yet wanting more and I cannot
wait to see more from this world.
This is an objective
review and not an endorsement of this book.
