A MAGICAL ENCOUNTER is a delightful story full of intriguing characters, tight writing that flows seamlessly and an ending that will leave you breathless. Ms. Hatfield is a new author for me and I find her writing to be very descriptive and you get a sense of the way the characters think, feel and their emotions.

Kaiya Galbraith is a woman who is trying to buck against the trend of marrying just for the sake of it. She wants love, passion and something magical between her and her soon to be husband; she definitely doesn’t want to find out they do not suit after the fact. At night she dreams of a mysterious man who makes her feel passions delight only to wake up and find herself in the same old world. Can she find a love that makes her heart spin with joy and stars shine in her eyes? I loved Kaiya and felt that she deserved every happiness she could desire yet the coldness emanating from her father had me gnashing my teeth. Ms. Hatfield did a marvelous job in conveying the discord between them and the hurt that followed Kaiya as she finds herself thrust in a place she has no idea about. Enter in Elf Warrior Hanarom Avindaul and you get yummy goodness when he walks into the room and saves Kaiya from death itself. What surprises her is this is her dream man, the one who makes her long for passion and love with every inch of her heart.

A MAGICAL ENCOUNTER is about love, passion and finding out that you control your destiny, even if it isn’t the one your father doesn’t see for you. If you love elves, singeing hot passions, and a love worth fighting for, then grab A MAGICAL ENCOUNTER. You will be blown away by the sheer imagery this author has in her pages and it just might make you long for one dream man of your own. I enjoyed Ms. Hatfield’s foray into her world of elves and men. I look forward to checking out more from this talented author and hope you do as well.

CLICK TO PURCHASE! Sabine Ferruci’s CHLOE’S DONOR is an unusual romance involving deception, difficult decisions and a whole host of odd conditions that nonetheless touches the heart and speaks of love.

Chloe Simon simply wanted to have a baby. But with no father in her foreseeable future, she decides to use an anonymous donor. Unfortunately for Chloe, the sperm she gets isn’t the sperm of the patron of the arts that she had requested. In fact, it came from a special operations soldier who only banked his sperm in case one of his dangerous missions went bad. Now that they have both been informed about the mix up, Dev Gallagher wants a say in his child’s life. Toward that end, he is willing (perhaps one might even say determined) to marry the baby’s mother.

Sabine Ferruci has a very pleasant writing style. CHLOE’S DONOR was a real sweet story. Both Chloe and Dev were so easy to like and the storyline seemed like it just maybe could have happened. And if it did happen, then what? So, yes, the storyline was just far enough out there that it made the “what next” both amusing and awkward and even somewhat hard to believe and somehow, all of that made for one really enjoyable story.

But it wasn’t just the two main characters that made this story so incredibly fun, it was the lesser characters, Chloe’s gay brother and Dev’s best friend, working on the sidelines of the story that really brought the whole thing together so perfectly. Of course, a real life mix up of this sort would undoubtedly not end up with such a happy ending, but this is fiction and overall, the story really was very sweet and fun. All in all, a nice lazy summer afternoon read.
