CJ England’s fast pace new book, EYES OF FIRE, delves into a world that literally transcends the pages. It is a wonderfully rich story that will leave you breathless and longing for something more. With tight writing, multifaceted characters and a rich storyline delivers all the right things a great book has to have. I was captivated by the way her pages flowed and how her two main characters, Talia and Calion literally leap off the pages. Ms. England delves into the world of Fairies, Orcs, Goblins and other otherworld creatures with flair and left this reviewer panting.
Be introduced to Talia, a woman who never felt like she belonged in the human world and always longed for something more. Determined to make her own path and find where she belonged, Talia ends up finding that there is more in t his world than she ever imagined. Strong, vulnerable, independent to the core, she is a heroine that struck a cord in this reviewer’s heart and I definitely rooted for her to get all she ever imagined. Add in Calion, a prince of the elves and you have a strong alpha male with just the right touch of arrogance and pride as well as some oh so sexiness to make it worth while. He definitely is worth getting taken by Orcs and made this reviewer want to be locked up in his arms. Ms. England captures the pure essence of these two characters especially as the twists and turns keep coming at a fast pace that made me want to say hang on…I am going under!
