Lady Aimee Daventry was the only witness to her mother’s murder. Her memories of it are beginning to reassert themselves within her dreams. Her dreams are becoming nightmares. She is determined to find the murderer and end her torment. Royce Grenville, Viscount Stonehurst finds himself protecting her.
Aimee believes she is the “mouse” of the family. She is only nineteen but doesn’t believe marriage and children are in the cards. Aimee is a very sweet heroine. She is a lot stronger than she thinks and her actions support it. Royce is a man haunted by his past. He has done many things that were not honorable and he feels an overwhelming guilt for his actions concerning his brother and his fiancée. Royce is definitely the epitome of a “tormented” hero. Aimee and Royce are wonderfully drawn characters. The author lets us into their heads and it is fascinating to watch them in action. Their relationship has ups and downs but they are able to connect on an emotional level. They can talk to each other and express their innermost feelings.The reader can empathize with them as we understand what they have experienced in the past. This pulls the reader into their story and we want them to experience a happy ending because they have both earned it.
SEDUCED BY SIN is the last book in the Daventry sisters’ trilogy. What a highly enjoyable story! It is filled with action on every level but especially on an emotional level. It is a great ending to a wonderful series.
