If you get bitten by a sexy Scotsman, why had it been the moment she was bloated? Now she is for all eternity a fully figured vampire and after centuries of an on and off relationship with above mentioned Scotsman Jeremy Blade, she decides to take her life in her own hands. She moves to Austin and opens Vintage Vamp’s Emporium. What she didn’t count on was a freak vampire hunter who wants her died. When Jeremy hears of the threat to her life he becomes absolutely Alpha and just wants to protect her, but she wants to fight her own fights.

REAL VAMPIRES HAVE CURVES is a really good debut novel and you will have so much fun with Glory St. Claire’s antics. This vampire is so real that you have the feeling it could be the girl next door. She loves shopping, has weight as well as love problems. It’s easy to identify with her and her problems. The story is highly entertaining not only because of its main characters but also because of the wonderful and funny secondary characters like her oh so clever guard dog Valdez.

At the beginning you might want to wring Glory’s neck because she is driving you crazy, but she really grows on you when you read on.

If you like Paranormal Chicklit you definitely should check out this book, and the already released sequel REAL VAMPIRES LIVE LARGE, as well as the upcoming June release REAL VAMPIRES GET LUCKY. I guess we have a lot more fun with Glory ahead of us.
