Meet the Nethercott Sisters- China, Jade and Sian- who lost their beloved father, who always believed in ghosts. Now China finds herself seeing her first ghost, the apple is far from the tree as she discovers. Will she be able to help the ghost of Quintus Valerius and find the time to explore the passion that simmers with each step of his descendant, the impossible Major lord Braddock?
KINDRED SPIRITS delves into the ghostly realm and three sisters that find that they can see ghosts. The first book was Lost in Shadow and now China is about to find herself ensnared with a bossy ghost and a curse that may be her salvation or her undoing. I never read the first book so this was interesting to see regency told like this. Full of characters that will make you laugh, sigh and want to meet within its pages and a mystery that will keep you entertained and guessing until the climatic ending.
Meet China, the one sister who was content with her life until her beloved father dies and she starts seeing ghosts. Well make that a ghost with a plan to save his descendant and end his ghostly curse so he can ascend. With hi-jinks, a blossoming passion and romance, China finds herself drawn to Lord Braddock and her thinking of some very improper thoughts whenever she is around him. Independent, impish and feisty, Ms. Kelley delves into the world of spirits, mysteries and romance in her latest. Major Lord Braddock is a delectable alpha male who doesn’t believe in ghosts, curses or that this woman is his destiny. But love has a way of finding you and this time, China and Major Lord Braddock are about to find that sometimes love among the spirited is indeed delightful!
If you want a suspenseful story with intriguing characters and a highly entertaining storyline, then grab KINDRED SPIRITS and find yourself lost within the pages as China finds herself tested in every which way and a love not to be denied. This reviewer definitely ran to read the first book, Lost in Shadow to see how it all began.
