Lindsey Brooks’ late aunt wanted her to take over her business and property in Montana. However, Lindsey was not ready to do so since her career and life was somewhere else. Life has taken a wrong turn as her engagement is broken and her career may be in shambles. Rob Colter is the man who purchased her aunt’s business. He is a man with secrets as he is aloof and hard to get to know. When they meet, sparks fly but they are carrying baggage from the past and whether they can work it out remains to be seen.
Lindsey is a vivacious woman with a love for the finer things in life. She is a very likable heroine. The reader is privy to her troubles and she will elicit a lot of sympathy. Rob is the epitome of the mysterious hero. There is much to learn about him and the reader realizes early on that he is a man capable of great love and loyalty. Life has put him through the grinder so it isn’t surprising that he wants to protect himself and keep the world at bay. They make such a great couple. The chemistry between them is strong and powerful. The author does know how to write some very sizzling love scenes. The growth of the characters coincides with the growth of their feelings toward each other. Lindsay brings the best out of Rob and the opposite occurs as well. Readers can’t help but fall in love with them especially during the poignant and intimate moments when they open up to each other.
LETTERS TO A SECRET LOVER takes the reader on a wondrous journey. We are introduced to a charismatic lead couple with a well-rounded supporting cast. The action is plentiful – erotic and non-erotic. The reader will be pulled into the story and it would not be surprising if you finish it in one sitting!
