Nicki discovers that she has a family that she never knew about, she even has a twin. While trying to deal with the new situation and even more spirits, she finds out that the devil himself wants her. Together with her boyfriend Joe as well as her friends Evan and Butch she begins a journey into her past and tries to find a way to defeat the devil.
This book is perfect for everyone who is looking for something on the funnier side of the paranormal genre. It had me laughing out loud on several occasions, so be careful if you read it in the public, else some people will look strange at you. The plot is fast paced and the interaction between the characters is so hilarious. The story is pure fun and surprises the reader with more than one sudden twist.
A MATCH MADE IN HELL is the second book of the Nicki Styx series and I really recommend that you have read DEAD GIRLS ARE EASY prior reading A MATCH MADE IN HELL, because Nicki’s story that began in the first book continues in this one.
I can hardly wait to read the installment of the series YOU’RE THE ONE THAT I HAUNT, which will be released next year. I am more than curious what the author comes up next and what Nicki and her friends have to live through.
Ms. Garey is definitely an author you want to keep an eye on!
