Ms. Shay delves deep into the paranormal world and delivers a sparkling new twist on the genre with WITCH’S BREW. You have delightfully multidimensional characters that can make you laugh, sigh or scream at and the twists in the story have you scrambling to the next page, aching to see what happens next. This reviewer was enchanted to see a new twist on witches, magic and the paranormal genre in general. The writing was tight; fast paced and keeps the readers attention till the very last page.

In WITCH’S BREW, you meet Saylym Winslow, a enchanting woman who denies she is a witch, can’t stand magic and ends up finding out that yes, she is indeed a witch! Lightness and a delight, she is a wonderful character that can make you laugh out loud one minute and on the edge of your seat the next. Well, until sexy Talon, Waken Prince, comes to her door ready to kill her just for being a witch. What is a girl to do except give him a run for his money and make sure she stays alive in the process. Talon is a delightful alpha male character that has wonderful depth and finds that he cannot kill the fiery witch in front of him. He is enamored and soon finds himself at odds with the Waken Guild. This reviewer loved the sparks that Saylym and Talon delivered throughout the book. Ms. Shay definitely captures their true essence and spirit within WITCH’S BREW. Add in some really evil nemesis’s that chase after Saylym and Talon, a battle of the sexes-witches style and some great secondary characters that had this reviewer wondering if there will be spin offs for them, you get a delightful start to a series in WITCH’S BREW.

Ms. Shay definitely grabs your attention with her twist on the paranormal and this reviewer can only ask….when is the next coming? Get ready for a wonderful Halloween Treat as WITCH’S BREW blows you away with captivating characters, edge of the seat plot and a start of a series that has you clamoring for more!
