One could say that Prof. Peyton Cache is more than little bit shocked when he discovers that his newly purchased Victorian house has a uninvited resident, namely a ghost. What should he do without making himself the laughingstock of the school? He opens the yellow pages and calls the only available ghost hunter. That brings Kaci Melton in his life, who takes over the job for her father. But she has two huge problems, first her attraction towards the hunky professor and second, that she is afraid of ghosts. This job provides just the right place for her to hide out for a while and she cannot tell the hunky professor the truth. These two things spice up life together for both of them and Kaci has decided that she quite likes the great sex and she likes the professor even more.

MY FAVORITE PHANTOM is a very enjoyable read that has the wicked kind of humor that is so typical for books by Karen Kelley, no matter if you take her previous ghost book Double Dating With The Dead or her Nerak series. This book is no exception because it is funny, romantic and oh so sexy. If you want to brighten up a dreary winter evening MY FAVORITE PHANTOM is the perfect book for it, because it will get you smiling and sometimes laughing out loud, when you read the funny dialogues or about the antics of the ghost. Okay the book sometimes reminds you a lot of the Ghostbusters, but is that surprising? No, it is a book about a ghost hunter.

This book is not only something for long-time fans, but also for those who want to try out Ms. Kelley’s books. Have fun with Kaci, Peyton and the ghost!
