Prince Alix, is the younger twin and supports his brother Jahn in every way, that is why he is given the task to escort a possible bride for Jahn to the palace. He doesn’t envy his brother because he thinks she is an absolute shrew. But he is more than surprised when he meets the gift for his brother, she is a beautiful woman and to his surprise she is painted blue.
It is Sanura’s duty to serve the man who owns her and he is the only one allowed to touch her, everyone else will be killed by her two bodyguards. Never was her duty a problem for her, till she met Alix. The more time she spends in his company the more attracted she is by him. On the way back to Jahn’s kingdom, Jahn’s intended bride is murdered and Alix and Sanura are blamed for her death. The two are not only on the run from the people who want them dead, but also Alix’s dark side is getting stronger and threatens to overtake him. Will the two have a chance for a happy end?
If you are looking for a fantasy romance story, that absolutely sucks you into the story you can’t go wrong with a book by Linda Winstead Jones and UNTOUCHABLE is no exception. Ms. Winstead Jones really has a gifted hand for world building and the creation of fascinating characters. I recommend that you find a quiet corner, so that you won’t be disturbed, because you won’t be able to put the book down once you get started. She has created a wonderful story of a prince, who is fighting his own problems and his relationship with a woman who is not much more than a sex slave. Ms. Winstead Jones describes the inner struggles of Alix and his very dark side Trystan in a such a good way, that keeps you glued to the pages,
Ms. Winstead Jones is really one of my favourite fantasy romance authors and I am looking forward to read the upcoming sequel 22 NIGHTS.
